I don't say no to any Card

Bank give cards on the basis of credit worthiness. If you had a history of 5 plus year along with flawless credit record. Rarely bank will say no to you.
I got my first card when I was in university, had no income just a JRF scholarship and 1 year old Amazon pay later account, which generated my credit profile.
Don't forget most HNI are not salaried but businessman.
I have all my cards under salaried now have started business now so idk will get my card cancelled or will have to re-apply...

My credit profile is 3yr old.

Banks give cards to self employed? I've heard bank approve cc for salaried easily...

Good collection though...

Bank usually don't take back cards, unless you defaulted your loan or missed any payment by more than a month then your cibil drop drastically by like 100 points or so. Then banks start blocking your cards seeing the sudden big drop in cibil.
Don't worry about your old card they will stay. Next while applying choose profession as business or self employed. Cibil will create a new profile based upon your new information.

Cashback first then simply click.
4th axis could be done only via branch. Ace was first, then myzone followed by Airtel. Flipkart is the last.
Could see more than 4 card by Axis due to merger with citi.
Kotak cards don't worth much, good for only instant online discount.
Idfc power was from the RM, She said its pre-approved .Yes it's LTF.
Ah after getting SimplyCLICK first, now they are not even processing my Cashback application, neither denying nor processing, it is just stuck. Will try to get RBI's help

Didn't know we can still get 4th Axis card from branch. Should we apply on C2C basis or cibil score only? Which of these Axis are LTF? Do you need Axis savings account for applying from branch?

IDFC Power+ LTF is rare. Congrats.

I am self-employed. My credit score was also built like you via Amazon Pay Later and other cards are same 😊

Don't know how many cards IDFC allowed per customer. Started with wow then upgraded to Millinnea. I applied myself for select and eventually got approved. Though received once a call stating that I need to close one of my IDFC card. Nothing happened abd still working both .
I wonder if they fixed the credit card application process for those who got First Wow as their first ever card. Many people here on Technofino are permanently blocked from applying for any IDFC unsecured credit card after getting First Wow before. There's a long thread about it: https://www.technofino.in/community...first-wow-cc-got-any-unsecured-idfc-cc.15074/ I was constantly shown "Sorry, we can't proceed" for over a year. Only managed to get Classic after complaining to PNO.

Were you able to apply online the normal way for unsecured IDFC cards despite having Wow? They told me we can only get co-branded IDFC like Power+ etc after getting First Wow and no core card unless special pre-approved offer is generated by them. That's how it is once we get Wow card.

Such SBI card problem are quite often. You need to wait atleast 6 months before applying again.

Axis ace is only paid.
Myzone was offered every one LTF last year sep to dec.
Airtel rarely run LTF offer for old customer. My Airtel number is 15 years old. Received LTF offer last year November.
Flipkart is card to card via bank.
Having a savings account does help. High chance of approval.

No I was upgraded to Millinnea from waw after opening a savings account.

Best hack is open a basic savings account whichever bank is rejecting the application multiple times. Close the savings account after receiving the card if you don't wish to continue your savings account.

Make a rent agreement (notarized) using bro s address, apply offline in Vadodara when you visit next time.

Your Bros address will reflect in cibil after approval.
My question is... They will ask for salary slip that will show I work in Jharkhand... And they will ask how I am staying in Gujarat if working in Jharkhand... Will I still get..

I didn't apply for it myself, I got repeatedly call from RM about being pre-approved for a fuel card. Told the RM that only intrested if LTF. After few days she said they are providing it as LTF.
You've a bank account with IDFC? Else how did you get a Relationship Manager?

I have a Priority Salary A/c with Axis Bank. Do you also have an account with Axis?

How did they provide you Flipkart LTF?

My Dad's Airtel no is 28 years old, first it was BPL then Loop and then Airtel since 2014.
Can't see any LTF offer on My Airtel app in their phone 🙁

A simple workflow every CC user follows /must follow -
Online/Offline Purchase/Payment > Figuring out which CC to use and how (e.g buy GCs with CC instead) for maximum benefits > Make Purchase/Payment

I personally find the second step increasingly difficult / stressful on my brain as the number of CCs starts to exceed the fingers on my one hand, let alone two!

Also, that is just the CC use workflow. There is another workflow of tracking the statements and paying them before due date. There is a third workflow of dealing with the truckload of marketing / promotions via phone calls, SMS, email and even WhatsApp now. As long as everything is going well in your life (stable job with reasonable hours, no family / health issues / emergencies) all is well. Once any of that changes, so many CCs can come back to bite you.

Set up auto-debit for the full amount on all your CCs where you have a savings account with the same bank. With these many cards, you are bound to miss one payment or under-pay by a few paise once and that will attract penalties / interest or worse a solid dip on your credit score. ICICI especially is notorious of not informing CC holders of dues in paise yet reporting them as defaulters for a few paise! Also, one of the biggest misconceptions is that auto-debit causes double payment since it does not detect payments via CRED or other apps. In my experience with HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Kotak, Citi/Axis and even a coop bank like Saraswat, auto-debit never kicks in if you have paid in full at least a couple of days before due date.

Yes, I have a savings account in IDFC. I know the RM personally. Gave him multiple new customers. He own his own talked to the zonal head of card division and upgraded my wow to Millinnea.

If you are in good terms with your RM, anything can be possible.

As far as I know helping the RM by providing them new customers, which helps them in achieving their targets. Giving them new customers is far better for them than buying garbage ULip products. They will be always grateful and ready to help.

Airtel was always shown paid, even rejected twice, last year November it was showing as ltf.

I keep things fairly simple. Instead of tracking multiple bill generation and due datem. I have chosen 5th and 15th of every month as bill generation date on the basis of card issuer. So I don't need to track each card, because I know which bank generates its bill on 5th and which on 15th.
I don't wait for last die date. I have also fixed my bill payment day as 8th and 18th of each month.

You can request to customer support and choose a bill generation date as per your convenience. This will definitely help you.
