I Made Mistake With AMEX MRCC Card

I recently applied my first AMEX CARD (MRCC) and I made a mistake. I didn’t use referral.
Now its first year fee is ₹1000 and from second year onwards ₹4500

Card is about to deliver soon

Is there any trick or method to make it first year free and from second year onwards ₹1500

Or should I cancel it and reapply, if I do it, will be there any cooling period?

Executive told me 7 days 😂. Second executive told me 3 months and you are telling 6 months. Are you sure ?

I am holding amex smart earn, plat, gold charge from which i cancelled smart earn today and i want to apply mrcc so what is the cooling period i need to wait after smart earn card cancellation ?

You can apply for MRCC immediately AFAIK..
90 days cool off period applies to the same card if you are reapplying for it again.
In your case as you havent applied for mrcc before ( last 90 days) you can apply for mrcc now ..

You can try before 6 months and see if you get rejected or not.
If rejected, then you have to wait another 6 months
