Maybe because there is no communication whether this would be an option all year roujd or is this a limited time run. So people don't want to miss out on an LTF card if latter is the case.
It is a shity card at best, what is to lose even if the LTF offer goes away? Much better cards are available LTF.
This one has international lounge access. I don't think there are many ltf which give that.
Collecting LTF card is a game. The more you play the more you will be into it. May be you will understand later.

DCB, Tata Neu Infinity, PNB Rupay Select, all LTF all much better cards than this, all with International Lounge access.
