Have you guys received any mail or any sms confirmation from ICICI or Times about credit card application approval or something like that?

Nothing as such
The card is appearing in Timesblack app

Just Applied to see the benefits and got approved. As a metal card enthusiast will hold on for 1 year and see how it works. Reflecting on TimesBlack App and not on iMobile.

Out of this Rs 23600 would be reversed after 1 year, if annual spends are Rs 20 lacs + (corrected - spends required are 25 lacs)

In Nov 23, I was charged annual fee when took the EPM card. Availed the joining benefits also.
It has been reversed now. But charged upfront for 2nd year.

But I feel quite sure with the FAQs.

I think this card would have been a good deal if they had also given 40k reward points alongwith joining benefits.
Like they did for EPM - Joining benefits + 12499 upfont reward points.

Maybe they have leant it hard way. Some people would have taken EPM, availed joining benefits, used reward points, continued to benefit from lounges and BMS offer all year round, and then closed it (without spends). 🤐

Approved within 30s … simple otp process to follow … limit same as existing one… will keep this as a souvenir 😆

So, was able to go to the entire way. CIBIL hit also done. Reached vkyc page which I will do later. They are asking really absurd questions as if I am filling a government job application. Plus I really hope that this silly credit limit is going to be fixed for the nearly 50K card.

For existing ICICI card holders, its just asking PAN card and one OTP, and Hence approved 🙂 Same limit as existing card

Can someone tell me what exactly is the real benefit here? It just says "exclusive this, exclusive that" but I don't find many exclusive things. Seems to be a fugazi card which is gift wrapped nicely.
