ICICI Bank Times Black Credit Card Launched - Full Details & Review

- noticed that waiver is on processing fee only charged by Atlys

My reading of their T&C says that this can be used only by the card holder, the said benefit of 10K isn't for use by family members . So it would be difficult to fully utilise this 10K limit in a year, unless one has many foreign trips lined up over the next 12 months. Hope my reading of their T&C is wrong and they let family members utilise this too.

Have applied for the card and await its delivery. In two minds whether to keep it or cancel it before activation.

Went through the rather comprehensive (and at times self contradictory) 36 page document shared by a member on the previous page.

1) It would appear that the 10K benefit is offered by BOTH Atlys & OneVasco. Nowhere does it say that you have to use one of the two. If that's indeed the case then one can possibly come close to extracting 10K value from Atlys & OneVasco both. Atlys can be used for countries where a visit to VFS or Consulate isn't necessary and OneVasco could be used for the other set of countries like UK etc.

2) Regarding Quorum club, to me it looks like there is no access to the club if one doesn't become a member (by utilising the 20% off promotion). That's probably fair, but in that case the card marketing should never have said "Exclusive Access". A simple one liner saying 20% off on joining fees would have been much more accurate. I would love to be proven wrong on this one, since Quorum membership in Mumbai is 4.5 lakhs plus 18% GST. Even if the card holder gets access to their events and F&B outlets it's a very good benefit.

3) Spending 2 lakhs on the ICICI card and getting a 10K Voucher from Klook seems an easy task. Didn't find any sneaky details in the utilisation of the Klook voucher.

4) Don't foresee any reason to spend 10 or 20 L on this card, hence those milestone benefits are of no interest to me.

5) As of now spending 2 lakhs and getting benefits worth 24K (10K Easemytrip, 3K Tony & Guy, 1K Interflora and 10K Klook) to offset the fee seems to be the best case scenario. Details regarding everything else seem to be as hazy as the Mumbai weather these days.

I think, you can as long as you are using the card to make the payment

Has anyone used this card to pay rent? I’m eager to hear firsthand experiences—does it charge a 1% fee for rent payments, and does it offer any reward points for these transactions?

Quote from their T&C document in the Atlys section, "Eligible Cardholder can avail processing fee waiver for travel visa multiple times, if sufficient balance is available in Times Black Visa Wallet"

Further in the Definition section the document states, "Eligible Cardholder” means the Primary Cardholder or Add-on Cardholder who can
avail the benefits listed hereunder. In cases where both Primary Cardholder and an Add-on Cardholder exist, only one Cardholder (either the Primary Cardholder or the Add-on Cardholder) can be designated as the Eligible Cardholder to access or utilize the benefits).

Hope they let all family members use the 10K Atlys benefit.

I'm thinking to register and apply for Dubai visa for my parents. Is it reliable?
Without sounding like a spokesperson for Atlys I can state that my experience with them has been very good. They charge you only if they're able to get you the visa as per the committed timelines (date / time quoted at the time of application). To my mind that's a great sign. Another cool feature is "Ready Visas". Once you use Atlys to get a visa they save the documents. Their systems checks internally how many countries can one apply for basis these documents. Like for instance after I used them for Egypt visa the Atlys app prompted me that I am visa ready for 27 countries. For these countries their system will pre-fill visa applications and I can apply with a few taps.

What's your primary concern ?

What's your primary concern ?
No concern only that my mom is housewife and my dad is NRI so don't want any issues although I have return tickets and hotel reservations for them. Just a bit sceptical.Applying 1st time so....

I also saw travel agent login is that worthy if I think of applying via them????
