Today I got this offer. Neither I am salaried nor Self employed. But I took a few loan for my family from ICICI credit card. And I heavily use icici credit card for EMI and Non EMI purchases from Amazon, Flipkart. But recently I am using Coral Rupay credit card heavily for transferring money to my friend (Merchant Account). I think it may trigger the offer.

I got Icici-MakeMyTrip card (and a couple of others) as pre-approved offers. ICICI-MMT - at one time fee of 2500/- plus GST.
As I do not have a travel card and got a lot of domestic trips lined up for the next 4 years, I took it yesterday. Approved instantly. Card activated n PIN set n other parameters set in App. Very smooth. Very happy.

If you consider physical cards. Then I got Rubyx LTF Pre approved after having 3 physical ICICI cards.

6 months ago I Received this card and paid the joining fee but still did not receive the welcome benefits and even my MMT account was not linked, bcoz of this the rewards that I earned through this card are not getting transferred to my MMT Wallet.
These are the issues I faced with this card
I escalated this to their nodal officer but there's no use

Such glitches happen if your eMail ID and phone number and city - data as available with ICICI and with MMT - differs. You need to change these details in the MMT App and these should sync with the data available in ICICI. You need to talk to their Customer Care guys.
In my case, there is no such glitch. And, both are in operation for over 3-4 years now. So, hopefully, there would be no issues.

They won't easily give you Platinum Credit card which is LTF. Instead try Coral Rupay card with 499₹ if you desperately want a ICICI credit card.
Well this was a big brain idea by the RM. Said he would get the Platinum upgraded to Emeralde LTF within a month after approval. Now after this debacle he's not picking my calls.

One of salaried friend was approached by an ICICI Credit Card employee. They were offering him Paid cards (Coral Rupay etc). But I have that card as LTF. So he got furious and asked that employee to give LTF offer on Coral. He declined. Then I informed him about Platinum credit card which is inherently LTF. But then the employee stopped talking for a moment and told him that ICICI has discontinued that card. I know he was lying. So he took the coral card with 499+gst.
So the main point is they won't approve LTF cards easily.
They will have different incentive structure for paid card issuance and LTF card issuance.. hence discouragement of highlighting ltf cards by agents

I had platinum chip but blocked after a fraudulent transaction. I just never bothered requesting a new one.
