ICICI Sapphiro Dual Card (Mastercard & Amex)

I got a ICICI Sapphiro Credit Card on November 2022 and it was on the Mastercard network.

After reading a few posts on our forum about the dual card for Sapphiro, I reached out to Customer Service through their website contact form for Level 1 complaints requesting for the same. Initially there was no reply other than silence for almost a week.

Escalated it to Level 2 and got a reply the next day saying the request will be addressed by concerned team within 3 working days. Yesterday, I received an email saying that I am being upgraded to the dual card variant and saw the two cards listed on iMobilePay and Net Banking. It was shipped through Bluedart and expecting it to be delivered tomorrow.

If anyone is looking to switch from Visa to Mastercard or to get the dual card, give this a try. Reach out to their Customer Service team through email since phone is literally useless.

So, no, conversion was not asked for.

No, I asked about this more than a year ago. Direct Amex offers are not applicable mostly as ICICI Bank is a franchise. I was asked to check Amex offers and they will clearly mention about excluding Franchise cards. It is applicable only if it is not mentioned.

There are specific Amex network offers that are applicable. That's it.

I saw some off on swiggy other day applicable for Amex network offers, even OG Amex cards weren't applicable for that off. So specific offers exist for Amex network cards.

Thanks a lot! I checked the back of the card and it says platinum. Have you availaed any mastercard specific offer? I was recently exploring the world of mastercard offers as I am totally new. Please let me know if there are any offers I should avail. I could see few offers on mastercard website which my Sapphiro MC is eligible for like Wyndham Rewards complimentary GOLD Status, gold benefits, Lounge access and etc.

Yes just now saw the offer and emailed them. Whats the point of MC letting us select our card and based on that it shows that the offer is eligible? Its stupidity on their end.
Swiggy HDFC credit card is openly flaunting this Wyndham membership on their application page in Swiggy app.

I raised a request for network conversion to dual variant. They are asking me to clear the outstanding on visa card. They also said later it will be closed. Anyone try this recently? I think they might close the card. Any suggestions friends

I have tried recently within 20-25 days and received Amex Emeralde variant. They didn't say about closing the dues, but mentioned they will close the Visa variant. But as of now both Amex variant and Visa variant both are working.

Enjoy bro. When are you applying for mastercard variant? You can use separate dreamfolks for unlimited lounge and spa for some family member
