ICICI Sapphiro Dual Card (Mastercard & Amex)

I got a ICICI Sapphiro Credit Card on November 2022 and it was on the Mastercard network.

After reading a few posts on our forum about the dual card for Sapphiro, I reached out to Customer Service through their website contact form for Level 1 complaints requesting for the same. Initially there was no reply other than silence for almost a week.

Escalated it to Level 2 and got a reply the next day saying the request will be addressed by concerned team within 3 working days. Yesterday, I received an email saying that I am being upgraded to the dual card variant and saw the two cards listed on iMobilePay and Net Banking. It was shipped through Bluedart and expecting it to be delivered tomorrow.

If anyone is looking to switch from Visa to Mastercard or to get the dual card, give this a try. Reach out to their Customer Service team through email since phone is literally useless.

I recently applied for Coral Rupay under pre approved offer, there was no cibil hit.

If you don't mind, could you please take a screenshot of Sapphiro pre-approved offer page and share.
It would be helpful for us for reference purpose.

I applied yesterday. Got the virtual CC instantly generated but today morning there has been a CIBIL hit for Personal loan from ICICI.
I missed to take screenshot of the page. It is same as other images posted in the community.

Amex has 50% more reward accumulation than master.
BMS BOGO offer is upfront on Master, but cashback in Amex...
1RP is 0.25Rs
These two were identifed based on usage..

As of now Using Sapphiro only for BMS offer...

For better rewards started using DCB.... (Sapphiro as fall back card, now AU Zenith got approved will use it as fall back.Sapphiro 👎)...

That's y I didn't tried for 3rd Visa variant .. Instead moved on to aquire cards from others banks...

Icici doesn't close cards automatically
Also the DF would still be on primary member's name so it would be difficult to use it for other family members now , as owing to the crowd in airport lounges most lounges are now checking the card name and boarding passes.
Only thing that is good is you will get BMS for both MC and Visa and cashback for Amex .

Yes, I have done the same thing. I would suggest everyone who is trying to do network change from rubyx visa to rubyx mc + amex to raise the query on Twitter, its the most effective way I have found. I tried twitter support of ICICI twice:
1. For getting Rubyx LTF on the basis of salary: Smooth process, got calls & emails in next 1-2 days and I had my new Rubyx Visa in few days only
2. Raised again to twitter asking for Rubyx MC + Amex instead, and got approval just few hours ago, they asked me to inform them once I have my credit card in physical so that they can close my Visa. But ofcourse I won't be doing that xD

Can pay to any card even any gemstone card of icici as they have a common statement

Dual Variant has AMEX too- since Amex specific offers

AMEX and DF are fine but BMS offer wise Visa is better right? straightaway 500 discount applies twice in a month but not in case of Dual

MC gives ₹500 discount once per month too

Also switching variants doesn't closes card in ICICI

I don't have Sapphiro currently.
I am requesting ICICI for Sapphiro Visa variant but they are saying that they cannot issue Visa variant to me but they are ready to give MC+Amex.
Bank is not sharing the reason as well.
