Called up customer care, I was greeted with wealth management on IVR. But when I asked for WM MC world DC, I was told that my account has been upgraded to wealth, BUT, account status code has not been changed to wealth. So, they cannot provide me WM DC now. I was told to visit any branch to change account status code.
So, now my account is half-WM 😂
I am pretty sure that branch guys will not change status code for me, they will give all sort of excuse and might ask for payment or might say it is not possible. I have always had bad experience whenever I dealt with ICICI branch guys.
