Had done a transcation of 1550 on Canara setu from first tap on 18th at that time I did not receive it physically but from card details from the app.
Till Now not received the 2.5% or the welcome bonus
Will I get it or should I increasce the amount for the welcome bonus?

Did the above payment partly in canara setu(Did anyone knew that it could be done?)


Wanted to inform that I have received the 4th Feb and 5th Feb reward points yesterday

You will get reward within a month.

How much is the maximum amount for month for which we get reward points for wealth variant ? 5000 points meaning 750000 rupees ?? Am I missing something?

I missed the limit and spent 9 L for bill payment. I should have waited for next month ...

Is the limit per account or its per debit card.

I got points for firsttap but pending for more than 15 days for spends on wealth debit card with setu.

Go to IDFC app >> debit card section and "Apply Firstap" here -

Also do first trxn 1.5k+ to get welcome bonus (2k, 4k, 8k or 20k - depend on your account type).

I have first tap rupay dc myself, got it few days back

Now I don't reemmeber how long it took to show up in app but 1 hr back applied for my dad's acc too. He is under wealth aswell, family banking btw under me. Ordered first tap dc, got email thankyou for applying with service req. no. I don't care abt the sticker, but how long does it take for the card no's to show up in the app? i don't remember how long it took, hence asking

ya, thanks. Even i can recall perhaps that it took may be just few hrs to max 1 day for me personally, but thanks for confirmation.

funny thing is idfc let's u see classic card on INB but wealth and firsttap cards can be seen only in the app lol...

I think I'll get 250 x 3 times first billpay pts in my dad's acc lol..

first with normal debit card as the acc opened recently....
then when wealth conv already under family banking, i just paid bill, so that...

and then firsttap rupay also coming so will do that and it will also give haha i am guessing.

anyways as my dad has brand new wealth visa infinite dc, whr to do the trxn? just want to do a 1k-1.5k trxn for 8000 pts... setu isn't accepting visa, and phonpe has charges, shd i try maximize @Abhishek012 ?

update : did a trxn with visa on setu 1 week back to get 2000 pts.. payment failed, i still got 2000 pts as welcome pts on normal idfc dc, but i also got trxn pts, and i am guessing idfc won;t reverse? refund has already come frm setu for failed trxn on 18th btw..

may be now we need a trick how to actually get payment fails for bigger trxns to get 10x for free (I am satisfied btw with normal pts lol, just exploiter in me had this in mind haha)

U can do any transaction except what is in the excluded list and get the welcome points. It's not necessary that u have to pay credit card bills only via setu or phonepe

ya i am aware of that, but want maximum benefit, apay voucher via maximize seems fine, but maximize's mcc code is not in excluded catagory right in idfc? i wish i could use visa for cc payment somewhr but phonepe charges fees on visa.

Exactly..even I received the mail. Its been 12 hrs.. when I check the app, it's still showing option to apply for first tap.. anything ghadbad??

Such a loot, if done, should not be made public.. afaik.. or else, the bank will understand the loophole and will reverse everything, like axis did for a year backs RP.

Maybe there are people who already make this loot... It should be kept secret..
