IDFC First Bank Launched its Debit Card Reward System

and one more Q, I got my dad an acc too, and the acc has been upgraded to first wealth aswell 2-3 days back but he hasn't received the wealth debit card yet. I have been using his normal debit card (I got the card info from intenret banking) for cc bills. He got the 250/month for billpay and 2000 initial pts. I am yet to get firstap for him as wealth debit card does show on internet banking but it isn't activated yet.

When I do try to activate (again saying the wealth dc hasn't arrived yet), it says to generate ping, which i do and then it sends otp, and once i put otp and verify, it throws error like this... I don't remember what happened and how I activated wealth dc for me personally as this was months back but why the error? I have attached it below. Do I have to wait for the delivery and then only this error will stop owat? my dad's internetbanking already shows "first wealth logo".

also, abt the limit reset, is it in midnight the 1L limit, or is it like exactly 24 hours from prev trxn?

and let's say I do 51000 trxn from firsttap, and now setu starts working and I wanna use my visa infinite wealth dc, and i do 20k payment from it, do i get 10x or not? coz i did 50k+ trxn from first tap right, and not from wealth dc...

You will get 10x. Both the cards are linked to same account. So it doesn't matter which card you use

Bro, when I’ve already said that the reward rate depends on the account variant, then why are you asking all this? 😀😀

Yes, ₹51K worth of transactions have already been done using IDFC Firstap RuPay Platinum DC, so you'll get 10x rewards on the next ₹20K spent (using the IDFC Wealth card).

Or vice versa — if ₹51K was spent using the IDFC Wealth card, then the next ₹20K spent will get 10x rewards (using the IDFC Firstap RuPay Platinum DC).

It doesn’t matter which card you use.

Btw when you say tomorrow, is it exactly 24 hours? will the limit reset like at midnight? or we will have to wait exactly 24 hours from the time we did the trxn today?

Just telling everyone, firstap dc works on canara setu easily. Even though my infinite keeps giving error, rupay trxns are going through. Mya be canara is not really down but have totally gone against wealth dc's except firsttap.

I am not able to any bill on setu since 4-5 days getting maximum limit error.Any solution for that.

Just an update, I just did 89k payment via setu haha, rupay card did the trick, plus I used dad's ph no for login as my ph no. login was showing limit reached error. Payment went through just fine and sbi received it aswell.

so the problem is with visa infinite wealth dc only , gateway prolly has put a block on it.

Ignore Canara Setu and use Phonepe app using IDFC Firstap RuPay Platinum DC. 😀😀

Use different mobile number for login.. but currently visa card is not working. If you have rupay card, you can use it

i remember when i got the firsttap, it never gave me a successful msg. It gave me an error and I got this like 1-2 weeks back. Then automatically within a day or 2, it came up on my app and sticker came at my address. So error doesn't always means it won't come..

Finally was able to generate the pin and activate the wealth dc.

I noticed something today.

- Normal IDFC DC can be seen at internet banking.
- Wealth and first tap DC can't be seen online. It does give an option to see, but when you click on it, it gives a QR code and a message to check the DC details in the app.

I got 250 2 times this month for "first" bill pay lol. I am guessing this is coz I have wealth dc and first tap. But both goes from savings acc only afaik right?

so next month also should i do 2 bill pay trxns to get 250x2?

I just paid PnB bill using first tap and Setu, successfully.

are there any charges on phone pe or is it completely free as well?

Had done a transcation of 1550 on Canara setu from first tap on 18th at that time I did not receive it physically but from card details from the app.
Till Now not received the 2.5% or the welcome bonus
Will I get it or should I increasce the amount for the welcome bonus?

Did the above payment partly in canara setu(Did anyone knew that it could be done?)
