IDFC Future First Savings Account

Thinking of opening a Future First Savings Account with IDFC Bank. The services are more or less similar to a premium account at any bank with no MAB or Debit Card charges (Visa Signature is being offered).

Anyone who is using it currently, how has been the experience?

It's for students only seems, not allowing general people to open this account

Yes, it's for students.

But there's no strict verification. The official who opens the accounts, just want to see your ID, they don't have to upload or keep it anywhere for verification. So, they can open the account even if you are not a student.

I dont think he has 2 accs,

Select is program and future first is acc variant

My rm was a very greedy person. I just baited him with some policies, which i never took and got him to open my 2nd future first account.

I also deposited a hugh Ip so that would have mattered alot as well.

My account was opened today. I think this is the best savings account right now for people who are eligible. Hopefully IDFC doesn't mess this up in the *Future*

Debit freeze can be removed by just calling customer care

If account is under total freeze, best option is to close account

what are the reasons for this?

As I understand- debit freeze can be due to suspicious txn, risk profile mismatch (kyc old but actions new)..

IDFC freezes mainly for doing UPI txns🤡
