IDFC has Started rolling out Credit Limit Enhancement!!!

So, IDFC FIRST Bank has finally started offering credit limit increase to their cardholders.

Got an IVR call today asking if I wanted to increase the limit on the IDFC credit card ending with xxxx. I said “yes” and it was done and it started reflecting in the IDFC app instantly.

Got an SMS/Watsapp confirmation later as well.

I too received the message to increase the limit. My limit is now 5,26,000. Can I try for wealth card? If yes, how do I do it?

Call/mail customer care and ask for upgrade.

I tried with my old limit which was 4,21,000 and they declined. Dunno how others were able to upgrade their card to Wealth. I’d appreciate any help from those who have upgraded recently 😊

Does IDFC accept C2C LE? And should the card be 6 month old for manual LE? My CL is 3.5 currently and have select, want to upgrade to wealth. Have Apay card with 5.5L CL, would that work?

Yeah you can try by mailing for few they have accepted card statement for LE and upgrade

I asked them to upgrade my card to wealth last November, and you can see their response below.

Any particular banks card statement only IDFC accept? As HDFC accepts only certain banks card statement for LE.
Also 6 months waiting period is mandatory or I can ask for LE immediately like say within 1 month of getting card

If your IDFc card has 25 lakhs limit you can write for upgrade to private

I’ve seen people with 4 lakh plus limit on their IDFC credit card upgrade to the wealth variant. Just drop an email and try your luck
