Hi, IDFC has started to upgrade from Select to Wealth, easily by Card to Card (other card should have limit abv 4lk), just share your other card statement, and they will upgrade your existing card within a week, had to send other card statement to IDFC Banker <banker@idfcfirstbank.com> and they processed the upgrade quiet smoothly.

Usually they have cool down period of 6 months between two LE but my last LE was 4 month back, still PNO upgraded my card to wealth..

You should be able to get the upgrade.. you can try

Congratulations. Just shoot an email to banker. They will do it within a week and dispatch the new card to communication address.

sure will do. Actually my LE wasn't easy wither. I had the Select card from three years and had good spends on it every month. Initially my limit was 2.2L, they offered a meager increase to 2.42L last year. This year mid i had requested my RM to help me with the LE. He was not helpful in that. So then recently i started going through the discussions here and decided to try my luck. Thankfully it got approved

I think you can request an upgrade if you have limit above 2lakhs or something, u can enquire with the customer care once for the required limit and then send a mail for the same

How old should the select card be? I am getting offer for 2L limit select card. Should I take it and apply for upgrade to Wealth immediately on C2C basis? Will there be new cibil enquiry for limit increase / upgrade?
