Increase SBI Card Limit

There are no exact rules but in my opinion keep your utilisation less than 5%.
Same goes for other banks? I heard somewhere that keeping utilisation b/w 20-30% on avg and making one big purchase(something like 50-60%) of the limit in 6 to 8 months could lead to credit enhancements.

Edit - I looked at two cards where I was offered limit enhancements. First is SBI Simplyclick which I got in 2019 and it started with limit of 1L. For first year I used it a lot, keeping utilisation rate around 15-20%, with one purchase of 80k out of 70k was paid on that day, so no spike in utilisation rate. After 1 year I got LE of 25%. I got 2 more LE on the card but my utilisation of this card is very low from 2nd year onwards. Plus none of the enhancements charged me anything. Current limit is 1.7L.

Another card I have got limit enhancements on is Amazon Pay ICICI. It started with 2L limit in aug 2022. I got first LE in nov and it was after a friend bought a laptop using this card in oct. But they do run credit enhancement drives too, so not sure what was the trigger. It increased to 2.5L. Then in dec I had to spend heavily, spent like 1.75L over the course of 3-4 days, which was not paid back before statement generation. But before I even paid that amount back, I got another LE, taking the card to limit of 4.3L. Strange thing was I got this 2nd enhancement even though I did end up returning the items bought and amount was reimbursed. And this one also happen around the same time many other got LE.

I have simply click got March 22 with 72k limit and after 6 months got LE and limit increased to 171k, second LE got last month now current limit is 222k. Utilisation always below 10%

I have also Apay card initial limit of card was 1.2L and i used heavily around 50-60% and i also make most payment before bill generation but after year no LE offerd by ICICI then i stop using that card and got LE on March 23 1.2L to 4.2L

That's why i told you there are no specific rules for LE its always vary customer to customer.

SBI Cards is hopeless and pathetic. They are too much over the moon about themselves, just like their parent bank with the typical "we are more important than even God attitude. Forget valuing their customers, they think we are doing some favours by being their customers.

I have been an SBI Card customer since 2007 starting with their Bangalore card (cancelled). I've have held Gold & More (cancelled), IRCTC, FBB (cancelled), BPCL and Prime. I had to run around quite a bit to get the Prime card because of their bureaucratic nonsense. And then they gave me a credit limit of just Rs.40000! I regularly hit Rs.20-30k in spends the last six months. Some months I even made advance payments.

I asked them for a CL increase twice. I was very rudely told that I "do not earn enough" to warrant a limit enhancement! Even 17 years of relationship is worth nothing in their eyes! I just wasted that. If I had taken a HDFC card at that time I would've had a LTF Infinia by now.

Now that I'm getting Magnus I am going to switch all my spends there and I will also cancel the Prime and BPCL card. I am keeping IRCTC only because it is currently the oldest card I have and because I travel quite extensively by train.

With this kind of attitude who wants to do business with them.

You are right bro i see such type of incidents with my friends there limit never increased even they earn around 80k month.
I am also planning to Apply Magnus C2C.

Which Bank CC statement did you send for LE, by post or online and What percentage of C2C card limit is given in HDFC card or they matched HDFC limit to C2C card limit?
I was used my Apay Card and submitted form with last 3 months statement on branch.
My Apay Card limit was 1.2L and HDFC given 1.5L
