Good Day Everyone,

This post is about my journey with IndusInd , this will be a little different post than the ICICI one as I will not be discussing about the fees plan associated with my card instead this post will mostly be related to my journey with IndusInd. So back in Oct 2022 , I applied for IndusInd Legend card through their online channel and was approved with a limit of 9 lakhs , however when I received my card the limit given was 5 lakhs , within 20 days of using my card I received a message that my card limit has been enhanced to 9 lakhs . Fast forward March 2023, I took an upgrade from Legend to Indulge credit card. Post that I came to know as per the SOB of exclusive savings account , one can maintain an exclusive account with 0 fund if an Indulge/Pinnacle credit card can be linked to account as surrogate . Till this time I had no banking relation with IndusInd , so I had to 2 options either open a basic 0 MAB account with IndusInd online and then get that upgraded to Exclusive account from branch or to directly open a Exclusive account online
I am not a fan of HNI banking and also as per principle I never open a account with huge IP just for credit card . So point 1 seems more feasible to me , I went ahead and opened a 0 MAB account online and got a virtual DC and a physical Titanium DC charged 249 Rs. Post completing my VKYC , I visited IndusInd branch and submitted the upgrade form to upgrade my account to Exclusive , the upgrade was processed in 7 days as 3 days were taken for approval as my account didn’t had the minimal balance required for Exclusive account . Post the upgrade I received my welcome kit which had a visa signature DC , also just when my account got upgraded I raised a request through phone banking to give a MC Exclusive DC as well , so I received both my Visa and MC DC .
P.S - I also tried to get Pioneer World Heritage Credit Card but that request was denied as I don’t have any Pioneer relation with Indus Ind
IndusInd gives 5 add-on cards so I took all 5 for my family members, Indulge add-on also gets unlimited lounge access through PP

Yes I have linked card in mobile banking.. not sure about net banking.. but both branch staff as well as customer care told me that minimum balance 100000/- is required

As usual they are always clueless. Like I said earlier, if you want reassurance just email them.

Branch guys or CC sometimes are clueless about their product offerings , and the reason can be many for that like in-experience , lack of training etc
It is always advisable to have a clear cut written communication rather than having a oral commitment .
When you ask something in mail , the answer would always come after a thorough research .

So now in netbanking, I have account and cards are displayed but in mobile banking, no savings account so far. If I try using same netbanking ID as savings account, it says no user found, and if I use old user ID, its showing CC only
2) Received Visa Signature and World Master, now how to apply for that Visa platinum card ?

1. If it's showing under Netbanking, it will eventually show up under Mobile Banking.

2. You have to wait for the savings account to appear under Mobile Banking, and once it does, you can apply for the Visa Platinum Card through the app.

When you get upgraded, you will get a welcome kit which would have visa signature card , you can call customer care separately and ask for a MC card as well

Is there a particular benefit to having all these debit cards? I am new to this world , so just trying to get a hang of it as yet.
In addition, I read on the forum that IndusInd bank cards are not very useful, other than maybe website offers from time to time. So is there any particular benefit to going for Legend first and then Indulge?

I don't know if there is a select variant for Current A/C as well but if there is, then there is no reason whey you can't get 3 physical debit cards: Visa Signature, MC World & Visa Platinum.

Most of us get the first two since they are the most useful. Visa Platinum is only good for some BMS offers from what I know

I believe you should still get it. Just activate the account & try applying for second DC from the app.

Just ask the RM to ensure they send Mastercard World instead of Visa Signature DC. It's a lot easier to get Visa Signature as second DC because that option is available in the app directly, as noted by several users on this very thread. Good Luck !

Higher variant IndusInd debit cards gets reward points on transactions , these cards have a maximum cap of how many points you can earn , the more cards you have the more points you can earn which can redeemed later for vouchers
Secondly , Indusind credit cards are not that good , but once you start moving higher in their credit card ladder there are many non spend based benefits associated with the cards , the top features of HNI IndusInd card is 3000 instant discount on Eazy diner bookings on selected restaurants , you can avail this benefit twice a year on your card plus you get unlimited international lounge access for both primary and secondary card holders

I don't think its too difficult
For me, i received default visa even though asked for master
Just asked my RM, she took request for MC and within couple of days, master card was at home

And when I was applying for Visa Platinum, i could see mc as well so May be it's working from app as well

You can also verify whether the request has been successfully processed or not, just after 1 hr of calling cust care who took ur request check Indus Mobile app there your new MC World Embossed should be visible

Separate. But booking process itself is challenging.

No problem about the booking process as I do it on a constant basis so know the timings and all as to when I need to book. Was really disappointed when they decreased the limit to 1 per card for both DC and Legend CC so taking extra cards
