Indus Mobile is going to be Discontinued soon Transitioning to Indie App !

After reading the thread, I went back and checked IndusMobile. It asked me to update the app as I didn't check it for a couple of months. Updated, and it is working. There are the usual hitches, takes for ever to load and sometimes the fingerprint doesn't work, but the app is working fine otherwise, and I haven't received any message asking me to upgrade to Indi...
I would still suggest to start using CardsHub as a backup.
 
I received an invite to activate CardsHub on email. Used the given link and activated it. Seems simpler than IndusMobile. But couldn't find as many features. Accessible and simple design though, hope they keep that up while adding more features...
 
Let's call it the IndusEnd as it'll mark the end of a few customer relationships after they experience the horrible Indie app, the current worst banking app in entire industry (except Indian Bank's INDSmart 😂)
Well horrible is a bit too much 😂. I think a lot of complains are due to its slowness. Which honestly is not that big of a deal. But there should be feature parity with IndisMobile, however a lot of features are missing. For eg. there is no positive pay section in Indie, and these are critical features.

Too slow, too sluggish. Gems not credited as advertised (for Indie account at least), not for autopay, referrals, DC spends, escalating is useless. Tons of IndusMobile features missing. And if you've been on Indie since the start (July 2023), it used to break on its own/go down and lock us out as there was no netbanking. Some Indie gems were forfeited/stolen back SBI card-style from many accounts randomly without any orders returned/canceled. Terms & Conditions changing every month SILENTLY without any kind of notification (as the RBI rule to inform customer 30 days in advance about rewards applies only to credit cards, not bank accounts). Can't even see transactions older than 3 months in the app, for that you have to request statement PDF and the PDF statement/order of entries is all messed up or some entries missing 😡. So even the statement it can't generate properly. Use the app thoroughly and you'll realize it's alpha-quality crap. But upper management of SundasBank clearly has no idea how bad the app is.

Oh one more thing I think Indie as a whole product, not just the app is trash. For maintaining 50K in savings account, now they are giving what? ₹150 for paying 3 credit card bills? I paid another electricity bill since it's a different category and didn't credit 50 gems for it. Escalated with screenshot & all T&C, still didn't credit, no reply either. But they spam via email like crazy. I've never seen any bank spam with more kachra emails than Indie advertising the same features over and over again. Daily 1 or 2 emails are from Indie in my inbox about features or offers already utilized/using or enabled. So they don't even have the technology yet to send user-specific emails about offers or product features. e.g. I used the AutoPay 200 gems offer way back in August 2023 itself, then by default they cheated and didn't credit the gems. After RBI dhamki they gave by Sep-Oct. But still spamming daily or 3 times a week to enable AutoPay to earn 200 gems ONE-TIME. So this is what I am talking about - it's a very junk product, spamming about features but not crediting gems. Normal savings accounts like Select with different benefits on DC were sent a message that their account will be migrated to Indie, now entire IndusMobile is being dumped for Indie app.
They're declared it ready so we'll just watch the fireworks once IndusMobile is actually retired and people face real-world issues with Undie 🩲. Mujhe kya main to kisi tarah adjust kar lunga, I've Exclusive account and Privilege Max account also with Delights DC. But real customers facing Indie app issues and losing their cool over this app means bank losing real customers.

The only worse product than Indie currently is HDFC Pixel Play/Go cards and PayZapp.

What do you mean by this? Is the app not getting discontinued anymore?
It was discontinued but now it's back cos indie is asking to open a saving acc if I only have cc as association with indus ind. I had raised a ticket they told to provide error but they have fixed the app now
 
No new savings account getting created. After entering pan and login only existing account is showing.
Does indie app asks for existing user ID(if anyone has customized user ID) from indusmobile app while login or its through mobile number?

I tried to setup the indie app since I also got the email for the sunset of indus mobile. It's asking me to enter pan card to open account? Does that mean I'll have another account created ? I already hold an exclusive account. Is there no way to use debit or credit card to login ?

so, it uses PAN as a primary key, and it will fetch your existing accounts based on PAN. It didnt open an indie for me, and my exclusive account was visible. facepalm moment.

I enter my pan number and then it gives me some error and thus I can't continue further 😐😑😑😑

Which error are you getting?
Last month I too received an error that says "Multiple customer ID........." after entering PAN number,
But 2 days before I tried to login, it was successful.

I get this error as soon as I enter my pan card number and submit: "Unable to perform action, Exception in standalone non sba dedupe"

Some coder has mentioned the de-duplication error description in coding language and has also implemented the logic incorrectly. Seems like they didn't receive proper business requirements. 😂

How to use cards hub if you have multiple cards. I got the link and set it up using one of my cards but i can only login to that card info and not the other cards. I can't even set it up again for the new card.
 
Just a reminder for people with Exclusive account to apply for both Master and Visa cards from the apply section of IndusMobile app (Get Visa Sig if you already have Master or Apply MC even if Visa gets closed and reapply Visa from app again). Get both the cards before the app is discontinued.

Yes I had the same thought since I am a backend engineer myself lol.

Anyways raising this to indie got it fixed and I am able to use the app now
