A few days ago when I visited Indus bank the employee told me a offer on opening of indus partner account wherein I have to deposit a cheque of rs 2L at opening which I can withdraw as soon as account gets opened and the account then remains zero balance and he also assured that they don't downgrade accounts like HDFC in case of non maintenance of mab.

Is it worth opening the account??

If we open this account as a single operator still we get all the benefits? 0 balance maintenance and all? And in single operator Case i have to give 1 lac cheque right?
Yes we get all the benefits.
If you are talking about opening the account during the offer period then irrespective of no of holders you have to give 2lac and without any offer it's 1lac

Maybe a repetitive question, sorry if that is the case, but how does this partner account compare with the exclusive account offering ?
1 patner account dc benefits = 2 exclusive account dc benefits

Because partner account gets 2 DC
Rest all benefits are same
The only downside is in patner you won't get a dedicated RM whereas in exclusive you will get a RM

Nope there are additional benefits too.
Like 0% markup fee, unlimited cash withdrawals outside India too, etc. Check and compare SOC for both accounts, available on their website.

Okay so 2 debit cards are an advantage, of course if I enroll my wife along with that. I am not really sure though if IndusInd RM's are any good or they are as docile as the ones in HDFC.

Yup those are mostly foreign benefits.
Those don't really matter a lot in my opinion unless someone does a lot of foreign trips.
