Indusind Bank Partner Account Suggestion

A few days ago when I visited Indus bank the employee told me a offer on opening of indus partner account wherein I have to deposit a cheque of rs 2L at opening which I can withdraw as soon as account gets opened and the account then remains zero balance and he also assured that they don't downgrade accounts like HDFC in case of non maintenance of mab.

Is it worth opening the account??

Just an update, I quickly went to my nearest branch (100m from my house) and got this partner account opened. It will take 4-5 days to get my account properly opened.

He told me that this offer has been extended till 15 July now.

But the bank executive told me that I have to maintain 2lakh atleast for a month for 0 MAB offer. Can anyone please confirm on this?

Update: I went there to open my account on 30th June, they told me I had some problems with my address details and they will fix it today and they will open my account tomorrow (1st July) and the offer has been extended till 15 July.

On 1st July they called me to inform that the offer was not extended and now they are not able to open my account. I scolded them and talked to BM but they apologized and told me they can't do anything now. I took my documents back.

In the evening I got a sms saying my Indusind account has been opened and with account details.

I contacted the branch and they told me that they tried opening on 30th June only but because of address issue they could not complete the application and somehow your account has been partially opened now.

Now they are closing the account.

In short, offer was not extended.

Sad man I also missed the offer period offer didn't want to risk opening at the end of the month as I had a feeling they can come with absurd reason to screw me over

Regarding the Times Prime Membership- I got a mail two days back from IndusInd asking for consent to share my details with TimesPrime. I have given my consent but haven't received any voucher or communication from TimesPrime yet.
