There is no Requirement for deletion at all.The idea of deleting internet banking is unwanted and will cause these issues. We just have to leave it and everything will be linked. We just need to wait for it after we try linking (even if we get error). The linking will happen.

Everyone want to link CC as soon as Account is opened, and When it throws error, then they went ahead and reqested for deletion unnecessarily.
I do not know who shared this information to first delete old ID and then Link with new ID. But this step is not required at all.

Now Banks Have a different system.
A single Customer ID for all the Products a Customer Availed
Whenever an Existing Customer avail new Product, that Product automatically get linked to already Created Customer ID .
Practical Example:-
Many of us Linked HDFC Tata Neu Card manually in Existing Netbanking to create the PIN so that we can set UPI Facility since we have the card number as it is available in Tata neu App.
Suppose If we do not have the Card Number, then we wait for either Card delivery or wait till HDFC system automatically link it to Existing Customer ID
Now mostly all Banks use CBSThat is what happens with most banks and should happen with core banking systems in place.
Even lo**du Axis does it quite right.
As soon as I got my savings account, they detected and automatically linked it with my existing ID from CC.
Don't know why it's so messed up with IndusInd that even customer support gives wrong information.
Now, after all the mess, I have 3 different customer IDs as well as user IDs owing to a previously closed card and this Legend and Select 🤣🤣🤣Indus should not give option to create multiple Login ID.
We got our Select A/C Welcome kit on 25th May and was able to generate (MasterCard) DC pin on the same day but have not been able to link bank account to existing Legend CC till date. Banking customer care asked me to contact CC team and request for deletion of User ID for CC to get the issue resolved but I'm avoiding it based on your experience.Now, after all the mess, I have 3 different customer IDs as well as user IDs owing to a previously closed card and this Legend and Select 🤣🤣🤣
P. S. - At first, I tried linking my savings a/c into existing credit card account for 3-4 days, never worked.
Then somebody said - it doesn't work that way. You need to do the opposite - link credit card into savings account.
For that, I then logged in with the savings account and tried credit card linking for again for 3-4 days. Then I raised the cc userid deletion request after support person said this was the way.
A week passes, after I do follow-up mails and calls (which is so hard to reach a human with) and finally another support person takes up the call and says that the previous request was taken incorrectly, hence it didn't work and she has taken the correct request.
After than 2 week passes during which there's no real update except tickets on top of tickets for follow-up and then one day I receive a reply that the card itself has been cancelled based on the previous service request.
Customer ID remains Same.Now, after all the mess, I have 3 different customer IDs as well as user IDs owing to a previously closed card and this Legend and Select 🤣🤣🤣
You should wait. For 3-4 days My Account was in Debit Freeze due to KYC not updated and may be the same is the case with you. I am not able to see my Account in my Credit Card Login , so I also called Customer Care and he told your Account was in Debit freeze so wait untill it get beomes unfreezed.P. After around 7 days, I tried logout and login and I can see both my savings Account and Credit Card . Also Debit Freeze was removed. I was using Mobile App only.

The most weird thing with indusind is they want us to create different user ID for mobile banking and net banking.
