IndusInd bank Select Savings Account and Legend Credit Card

Hi. I received my Select Savings Account welcome kit today but I'm not able to link it with my legend credit card in mobile application. Please help. My 50000 is already stuck in select account and there is no way to take it out as I have to pay penalty as non maintenance charges.
Please help 🥺
 
The idea of deleting internet banking is unwanted and will cause these issues. We just have to leave it and everything will be linked. We just need to wait for it after we try linking (even if we get error). The linking will happen.
There is no Requirement for deletion at all.

Everyone want to link CC as soon as Account is opened, and When it throws error, then they went ahead and reqested for deletion unnecessarily.

I do not know who shared this information to first delete old ID and then Link with new ID. But this step is not required at all.

I think Even CC link with SavingsAccount is Just a Gimmick

Now Banks Have a different system.

A single Customer ID for all the Products a Customer Availed

Whenever an Existing Customer avail new Product, that Product automatically get linked to already Created Customer ID .

Practical Example:-

Many of us Linked HDFC Tata Neu Card manually in Existing Netbanking to create the PIN so that we can set UPI Facility since we have the card number as it is available in Tata neu App.

Suppose If we do not have the Card Number, then we wait for either Card delivery or wait till HDFC system automatically link it to Existing Customer ID

Even lo**du Axis does it quite right.
As soon as I got my savings account, they detected and automatically linked it with my existing ID from CC.
Don't know why it's so messed up with IndusInd that even customer support gives wrong information.

Even Indus automatically link it.
But No one want to wait for this to happen automatically.

How many days you waited before raising the Delete request ?

Your Savings Account and Credit Card are not reflecting under same Login ID and Password before you raised the delete request?

If You manually created different login ID for Savings Account before indus system link your savings Account with Existing Login ID automatically , then due to this reason indus system is not able to link it automatically as both are associated in different login but under same customer ID and you have no choice other than to delete one login ID and may be the same is recommended by Customer care executive in such a Case.

In other Banks like Axis and HDFC while Creating Login ID and Password you need to enter your Customer ID first, which becomes your default Login ID and Hence you can not create multiple login ID even if you change your Login ID after that

In Indus, no such Requirements, they validate only CC/Savings Account Details and allow you to create another Login ID and Password and then two Login ID Creates Problem.

Indus should not give option to create multiple Login ID.

I never created a different login ID for Indus Savings Account
In my case all linking happened automatically. Infact I do not even have any written confirmation that My Account is Now a Effectively Zero AMB Account since monthly E-Mail Statement is a Proof itself

Now, after all the mess, I have 3 different customer IDs as well as user IDs owing to a previously closed card and this Legend and Select 🤣🤣🤣

P. S. - At first, I tried linking my savings a/c into existing credit card account for 3-4 days, never worked.
Then somebody said - it doesn't work that way. You need to do the opposite - link credit card into savings account.
For that, I then logged in with the savings account and tried credit card linking for again for 3-4 days. Then I raised the cc userid deletion request after support person said this was the way.
A week passes, after I do follow-up mails and calls (which is so hard to reach a human with) and finally another support person takes up the call and says that the previous request was taken incorrectly, hence it didn't work and she has taken the correct request.
After than 2 week passes during which there's no real update except tickets on top of tickets for follow-up and then one day I receive a reply that the card itself has been cancelled based on the previous service request.

We got our Select A/C Welcome kit on 25th May and was able to generate (MasterCard) DC pin on the same day but have not been able to link bank account to existing Legend CC till date. Banking customer care asked me to contact CC team and request for deletion of User ID for CC to get the issue resolved but I'm avoiding it based on your experience.

I don't know if there's a better way to do this or for how long we should wait but I'm in no hurry and don't want to mess up anything, so waiting patiently. Please suggest if you have a better option

When I closed Kotak Account and then re opened after 3 years I was assigned same CRN which was assigned earlier

You should wait. For 3-4 days My Account was in Debit Freeze due to KYC not updated and may be the same is the case with you. I am not able to see my Account in my Credit Card Login , so I also called Customer Care and he told your Account was in Debit freeze so wait untill it get beomes unfreezed.
After around 7 days, I tried logout and login and I can see both my savings Account and Credit Card . Also Debit Freeze was removed. I was using Mobile App only.

In your case those morons ended up in closing the card instead of deleting the Credit Card login ID.

I have Legend credit card now. If I plan to open the select savings account later, how do you suggest I link both?
 
The customer care executives of IndusInd are not trained at all. They are just a bunch of dumbf***s.
The most weird thing with indusind is they want us to create different user ID for mobile banking and net banking.
I have same for both. I do not understand why you guys are creating different ID unnecessarily.
Mobile Banking ID works on Netbanking also. You just have to set password for first time usage using Mobile Banking UserID
