Select
Individual account -50k
If you take family banking in select- 1 lakh

Exclusive
Individual -1 lakh
Family added - 2 lakhs

It's written in SOc
If I have 50k balance in my savings account and I upgrade to Select, I can have free zero balance add-on accounts for family members. Then what is the meaning of the clause- "Family Account (grouped) - 1,00,000" given in the SOB?

Does Pioneer allow multiple debit cards - Visa Signature, Mastercard Signature and Visa Platinum like Exclusive does?

Does Grande allow multiple debit cards - Visa Signature, Mastercard Signature and Visa Platinum like Exclusive does?

If yes, then I need to seriously consider one of these.

If not, Exclusive is better for me even though technically it's a "lower" account.

My RM was saying the same as OP but about Grande. Pushing me towards Grande and saying there's no downgrade usually but I didn't believe her as my Exclusive is anyway LTF 0-balance with special maintenance waiver (Diwali 2022 offer) so I see no reason to change.

Just curious.. Why do you want multiple varient debit card tho?

It offer 0.5% cashback for credit card payment but its uncapped so there's not really I need to have visa and mastercard both..

For rewards on each debit card. Add in a third Visa Platinum/Titanium or Indus Duo card and rewards are tripled in the Exclusive account

Yes they do allow multiple debit cards on different card networks regardless of account level, but again it depends upon the efficiency of the person handling the request. Also, after getting multiple debit cards just make sure that you do get the points credited in your card because in my case only one card is accumulating points and the other works but throws an error when fetching point balance and shows zero points in monthly account e-statement.

But what about the non maintenance and downgrade experience

I am not so sure about this, but 90% of the accounts that do not maintain the balance will not be charged or downgraded. Just don't try to over optimize the rewards and you'll be good to go. In a worse-case scenario if an account does get downgraded, the debit card wont be affected and would remain of the same variant as it is.

This you were talking about Grande or Pioneer? That particular account type/account scheme may officially support rewards only on 1 card even if more than 1 can be generated. On Exclusive at least, 3 DCs can be active and all of them earn rewards (₹1050 per month on Visa Signature and Mastercard World variants, and 3rd one can be Gold/Platinum/Titanium or Duo card - rewards depend on that)

Last I checked they used to allow 3 cards on all account types. I believe you can still do this just that you need the correct person to get this done. Also, if you are upgrading from an old account all debit cards remain active or one card may get deactivated if already 3 cards are active for the new debit card.

OK but is yours Pioneer or Grande? You said you yourself face this issue with 1 DC always showing 0 points or error?
