Infinia Infinia Add-on card Priority Pass use no longer free in India?

Jolly Roger

VIP Lounge
I just received an add-on Infinia today but the Priority Pass that came with it had a sticker that said:

"Your Priority Pass must be used outside India only. Swiping it within India will attract charges as per the schedule of charges. For lounge visits within India, use your Regalia credit card..."

Does this mean the benefit of domestic use on Add-on Infinia cards is no longer valid or is this some error (possibly a Regalia Priority Pass sticker pasted accidentally)?

That's a mistake on HDFCs card team.

Priority pass can be used by primary card holders and add ons within and outside India without any restrictions.

Screenshot from HDFCs website attached!
I used it a couple of weeks ago for myself and add on. No charges whatsoever. Normally PP is chargeable in India but Infinia is an exception. They either overlooked it for the Infinia label and used the same label or they want to discouage its use.
Can mark either of these as answer.

Please point me to the same where it's written add on lounge access on infinia is PAID / BILLED. Unable to find it. Its saying pp is free but nothing about paid. Rechecked.
It is clearly given that “Infinia Primary Cardholders can avail unlimited complimentary lounge access”. Add-on cardholders aren’t mentioned, so, very clearly, access is NOT complimentary for them. Hence, each such access would be billed.

Also, @Gaurav_96's question was clearly for Infinia add-on (and not through PP, as he clearly mentioned). Access to any domestic lounge via Infinia add-on is clearly a paid service. Via PP, add-on CHs do get complimentary access, yes; but in all such cases, access via PP is obligatory. The difference is also clearly given here in this attachment (enclosed).

You're right ... In documentation... However..... Infinia add on still shows as 2₹ swipe on all terminals. If it's only 2₹, then swipe away. They can't change amount later. RBI rules. Probably because hdfc was giving same card number to add on and primary.(Speaking from experience)

PPL with different add on numbers to confirm if add on is still @ 2₹.

I have different numbers on add-on cards and will be flying tomorrow with complete family. I'll update here.

My experience of swiping at Nagpur Airport in April 2024
1. Primary Infinia Card - Rs. 2
2. Add-on Infinia Card - Rs. 2
3. Primary Priority Pass - Rs. 0
4. Add-on Priority Pass - Rs. 2693.22 (including GST)
I’m surprised to see this. The 2nd one might have been an error, but to have been charged for the 4th one [Add-on PP, for HDFC Infinia] is clearly in violation of the stated T&C. Did you complain??

Also, with PP, it is only a “Record of Visit” [ROV] that is imprinted on the slip [and not the cost], as may be seen in the attachment enclosed. I woudl be curious to know, was the charged billed even when the ROV displayed “0 guests”?
