Infinia INFINIA Journey, How INFINIA lost it's charm for me & How stupid HDFC RM's are

Can you share the latest criteria that they mentioned in this email?

Usual criteria that's everywhere in the forum now :-

1) Credit limit on the existing card should be greater than Rs.8,00,000.00.
2) Spends on the existing card should be more than Rs.9,00,000.00 lakhs in the last 6 months.
3) Vintage on the existing card should be more than 6 months.
4) Net salary should be greater than Rs.5 lakhs per month for salaried person.

You can still make this work. Ask the RM to write to the cards processing center head to seek a deviation from product team who manages Tata neu portfolio, post that it should be done.

May be i can ask her to raise another application for new card ? She is kind of dumb and it seems too much for her 🤣

What a stupid criteria. 5 Lakh per month salary. Even our Prime minister do not get that salary. No government servants including all IAS, Supreme Court Judges, MPs, and even RBI governor wouldn't fulfill this criteria.

Humse toh kavi na ho payega!

Why don't they use salary - service parity private vs public service?

They have service parity .. For govt employees it's 3.5L /month currently, again out of reach for 99% govt employees.

I got Infinia as new card instead of upgrade. I didn't go for upgrade as I wanted to keep my Neu infinity.

5 lakh is for private employees, for govt employees it’s 3L.

Congratulations!!! Did they made you buy any investment/plan at the end?

No ULIP / policies.

RM failed (Asked for some investments) / BM Failed (Asked 5L/6Yrs ULIP - total 5.4*6 = 33L)
Both raised applications with approvals and got denied ultimately.

And then i sent some escalations, God knows who took the responsibility and out of blue i got a call 10 days back from a HDFC CC person confirming she got an approval for INFINIA and i will get the card shortly. I asked who gave the approval, she told that she got the approval from central team from your escalation to higher management.

I never received revert on any escalations i sent. All were sent on 31st Dec '24.

On 27th there was 3rd Cibil hit of the journey and today got the card in Net Banking.

Great! Seems like mailing to higher management is a better way than going through RM/BM. Did you escalate it till MD Desk or only PNO?
