Balance was 406, so 406-501= -95 is available balance. and It seems they put 501 twice on hold, means -95-501= -596 which is shown as total balance. Now I've transferred 1000 in account and redeemed 1 voucher for Rs 1 and now available balance is 904 and total balance is 403, whis is 1002 (501*2) less what is should be.

So Today I sent email to customer service of IOB for this Lien issue and within 30 minutes I received reply from them in which they tagged the branch and asked to resolve the issue quickly and after one hour of that reply, I got call from branch manager and he told that issue has been resolved and apologized for the trouble.✌️I talked to branch on call and they said 501 is required as MAB and will be in Lein. It’s weird thing, I will visit branch and get clarification.

looks like bsbd. @Ram1 kya variant show hota hai app mai?Today I went to open IOB account. I requested to open this account as I wanted Rupay select debit card he said he can not open such account as there are lots of fraud happening.
And said he can only open generic saving account which he has. I demanded a good reason but still he didn’t open he said he is opening SB Pub account which will have rupay classic card as I had read here I thought I will apply for upgrade as the guys there didn’t budge at all and had no fear(typical PSU I guess).
He said that I will get card with thank you letter and I can collect passbook from there and asked to fund the account with 1000rs and keep 1000 balance.
When I went to passbook desk the person said that his system isnt working and I will have to come on Monday.
Just came home and opened the app. It shows SAVINGS ACCOUNT - BASIC SAVINGS BANK DEPOSIT ACCOUNT.
Now I had a few questions looks like its BSBDA account. Is it correct to see this in app can anyone confirm. Will I get option to upgrade to rupay select or should I now fight to change my account variant.
Branch folks were not at all helpful at all so not sure if they will help in converting account(probably location specific as heard good reviews from you all)
