Ippb charges issue

Being a govt of India organization the digital accounts of India Posts Payments Bank already charging yearly for the virtual only classic rupay card and top of that the below also noticed.
Any solution to stop charges?

Their app is not that much tech smart…

What is benefit of having IPPB account?

I used to pay contributions to Suganya samridhi account to both of my daughters so ippb account makes me to do that without going to post office

No ippb is a digital account with limits
POSB is the savings account
Both are separate

Don't keep funds in the account.


I don't know why I send and withdraw to keep it alive (otherwise it dormant)

Not paid a single rupee, post man ke pass jao for a little work.

Upar se he ask for OTP and fingerprint 🙁.

Just do a UPI or NEFT from their old aged app , क्योंकि नेट बैंकिंग तो है नहीं 😂

And then no funds no deduction

Well but one thing I noticed ippb give more interest on whatever amount parked in the account compare to some other banks like SBI Or HDFC.

I got exactly same feeling today when I saw similar sms charges for my account.

True. Last to last year I did not do any transaction and no sms charges but last FY did some unnecessary transfer to have some activeness for the account and got charges sms charges every quarter.

I think I had few thousands parked and surprised with good interest on it compared to other banks but yes no transaction done for 10 months. Hence no sms charges.

I have not taken any virtual card.
Edit: Just found I can check statement for 21-22 year. I actually had 1 transaction in dec21. So I got charged for that quarter.
