Is IndusInd Bank still issuing the Legend CC as LTF? Is it worth it?

I'm self-employed and have a CIBIL score of around 775 with no enquiries in the past one year. I don't have any existing relationship with IndusInd Bank.

I'm curious, is IndusInd Bank still issuing the Legend CC as LTF? My sole purpose to obtain this card is to open the Select savings account as it has a zero MAB requirement and provides an LTF debit card.

Is this card easily approved though? And is it still worth it?

been trying to reach their CC via mail and call to confirm zero MAB (have legend CC relation) since 2-3 weeks now, but they are not replying, calls also get disconnected. its really frustrating.
Exactly like how I described. Even for this sole reason I'm not activating my new Legend credit card, and hence won't open the Select account either. Mental peace should be a priority over FD interest rates and zero MAB offer.

Also, I have a feeling that they won't keep this Legend card relationship criteria with the Select account for too long, simply because they have been handing over this card as LTF to almost everyone now.

Meh. Who uses emails these days? Send them your grievance in the following form:

Exactly what I've been suspecting for some time now. The first clue might be the Bank falling silent to direct queries about the 0 MAB status of a linked Select account. The second would be a possible sudden disappearance of the relevant clause in the Select spec sheet. We should keep our eyes open for that.

They don't follow TAT for service requests.

The Axis staff, in contrast, follow the 24-hour TAT spec for SRs quite meticulously:

They do it not by actually addressing the issues raised in the SRs, ... but rather by routinely closing every SR within 24 hours, regardless of the status!

The hapless customers are supposed to open fresh SRs for the same issues if those still remained unresolved, so the cycle could be repeated all over again!

How I know? I was told as much by my then Axis RM, who was quite surprised at my surprise that TAT meant this to them! 🙂

For the credit card, I got confirmation that it is LTF.

For the initial funding, they simply provided a link to the Schedule of Benefits PDF, which mentions the MAB requirement, not the initial funding. Really incompetent folks work there.
Same, they keep sending me PDF link. I suspect they might remove this.

But it seems like it is there for now, the welcome kit they sent yesterday also had legend card mentioned so if they ever charge me I am going to mail that & will ask them to reverse charge. But their CC sucks to idk if they will ever reply me.

Maybe this can be i reason to get pinnacle and get a exclusive 0 MAB?

From what I read elsewhere, getting a Pinnacle card and the Exclusive account don't guarantee a better customer support from Indus Valley Bank. Don't forget that Select account is also one of the HNI account variants of IndusInd Bank.

yeah, but at least I will have 0 MAB if they decide to remove legend and select criteria.
I literally just revived my select welcome kit yesterday, thats why not making this upgrade now, dont want to visit bank again & ask them to upgrade

I sent them email asking for confirmation if my exclusive account is eligible for zero balance, and those numpties gave me this reply:

Typical generic response. I don't understand how hard it is to give a personalised reply. These guys indeed deserved to be replaced by AIs.
I asked about 'my account', they replied with 'all customers'.

This is how they reply 'exclusively'.

I am pretty sure that I am eligible for zero balance account. Just wanted to confirm from their side for added peace of mind. And as I was ETB, pinnacle cc got linked to netbanking/mobile app from the very next day it got approved without myself doing anything. When it's already linked, I don't think I need to try adding it again. Or, do I?

If it's linked already, I don't think you can re-link it. However, keep checking it periodically if they haven't removed it automatically. Read a case on another thread where his card was delinked within a few days of linking it manually.

Also, keep maintaining a lower MAB than the required one for at least 4 months for a better peace of mind. If in any month, they deduct non-maintenance charges (NMC), you know what to do.
