Just Closed an Axis Bank BSBDA account from Axis Mobile app.

As per rbi guidelines, banks can't put balance below zero.
I think they are ready to catch balance if transfer into it. 😂

See thats the proper lack of understanding the Guidelines.

Negative only for the non maintaince entries will be considered as per RBI guidelines
Remaining charges like Dc AMC, nach failures , all should be paid. (But if manager satisfies he can close the account without asking you to pay).

This is the reason why now pvt banks has changed their methodology in collecting Non maintainence .

They wont make your balance negative, they make your account lein for how much charge to be recovered.

Simply.
Negative balance for SMS ALERTS, NACH FAILURE, CHEQUE FAILURE, AMC DDERED C CHARGES,
Lien entries for NON MAINTAINENCE CHARGES , so they are not comming under the purview of guidelines. ( done by HDFC BANK)

But I argued with the RBI ombudsman in friends case as COMPLAINT NOMINEE , and RBI ombudsman after several requests CONSIDERED it as voilation because of BASIC STRUCTURE of protection given by your RULE was voilated by this loophole. He said me to join in law school.
And given directions to HDFC PNO to refund all charges before that period .pno aggreed and did it.
Regarding dc, i blocked physical dc before putting balance 0.
Regarding cheque, never used.
Regarding sms charges, no idea about liberty variant.
Only non maintenance charges is worry

If mab charges below 500,i can happily pay and close the account online. Convenience is important.
But how to know if account has mab charges waiting to be grabbed?

RM ye pedda fraud gadu. 2 years back getting add on card from axis cards was biggest task.
Then i met one RM here, he's from kolkata, naku magnus apply chesta annadu and add on kosam maa mother ki online lo burgundy account cheste ippista annadu and mother ki 3 months cc kuda vachela chusta annadu.
He got me magnus thats ok but others promises anni false. Add on cheyledu, cc cheyledu. Branch ki velli close cheskondi annadu account. 420 gadu.
He turned to be biggest fraudster, he cheated many guys giving fake magnus, reserve cards fyf.

So ala aa burgundy account tho lock aipoyam branch ki poleka

Account balance showing as zero but in statement I can see debits of 600,160,gst charges debited
Negative balance wont be showed in account,
Only bank staff can see, and customer care And RM
That is the reason you are unable to proceed furthur.
Now the only way is to officially send a mail to branch to close the account

And I also enquired my friend, she said that A mail to home branch BM and Operations would enough to close the account if unable to maintain.
From registered mail Id as in CBS
 
How can they close account with just email?
They mandatorily need signatures on closure form right
Pvt banks very less complainace bro.
Since the account is unabel to maintain balance, it is bad sign for branch statistics at end of financiala year for their ratings.
If he requires they will send a person to home to collect signs.

Recently my uncles HDFC bank 10000 negative balance closed by only mail.

And my aunts hdfc 7000 negative balance in hdfc remived by complaining through mail , didnt went to bank also.

I enquired with my friend , she is in operations for more than 5 years.

mail means , not by sending directly, before you have speak with them , so they will suggest to mail from registered mail ID

Today morning i raised my concern on axis support at website.
Evening i got reply mail that there are 4 ways to close account
1.mobile app
2. Internet banking
3. They gave closure form which i have to fill and courier to branch
4. Visiting branch
They gave local branch email ID too for further assistance

Proceed bro, which ever is simpler to you

contact with branch first, request them To approve it my register mail
if they didn't accept such way, we cant force them because its his risk and compliance audit problem. it depends on BM or Operations

No i dont want to contact them, probably they wont agree.
I simply courier closure form to branch. This is high likely they reject. Its standard procedure mentioned in the mail, so they can't deny imo.
