Paid 50k using Canada Setu, Money got debited and Setu says Initiated and its not credited to my CC. So this transaction will be failed and money will be refunded to my account? If yes, how many days itll take?

Sometimes it gets settled in a few minutes. Check transaction history. If it fails then refund comes in 7 business days.

Many people here are giving the wrong info. Still, they are in the belief that they are providing the correct one.

If any of your HDFC debit card gets inactive you can reissue it as long as that card variant is live in HDFC system. There is a process (and charges) involved. Though the card number will not be same.

In simple words those who are migrating from old plat to millennia can shift anytime to the old platinum as long as that card variant is not stopped by HDFC.

Simple english mai bade asaan se shabdo mai likha hai ki ab naye ESP nhi issue ho rhe, how is that so hard to understand?

In simple words, Easyshop Platinum seems to be DISCONTINUED for new issuance. If you are able to apply for the same, let me know and provide proof.

The post about merging DC points was inaccurate and easily verifiable, thus made sense to remove it.


But regarding re-issuance of ESP, there are still some grey areas like re-issuing in mycards, getting insta DC kits from branch and applying using card code from branch.

Though they've removed the direct 'upgrade' option, doesn't mean people have absolutely no options left.

If you are able to apply for the same, let me know and provide proof.

Also regarding this, nobody has time to go through these tedious processes to prove a point to you.
And i don't believe anybody would even try until we have a platform that gives 1% on ESP.

For now, just let it be in the grave. If a suitable bill payment platform arises, people will figure out the ways to get it if it's possible by then.

First of all, there is nothing to be arrogant about. We are literally saving 1-5% in most cases for anything here and nobody outside of the bubble of a very specific niche of nerds cares about that.

Secondly, you just blamed me (and don't play the "where have I mentioned you by name" card here, all of us here know who you were referring to) for providing wrong info without any explanation or proof regarding the same. I replied in very normal language, using your own "simple words".

Fair point, its certainly unclear, although, as far as I know, ESP was never available via Instant Kits, but don't quote me on that.

About the re-issuance through MyCards, I have a family member who has had ESP in the past and holds a millenia now, will try to re-issue and see what we get, my hunch (and nothing more) is that we will get new platinum only, otherwise it doesn't make any sense for them to show those new debit cards. But will keep you guys updated.
