I don't know why people are so happy abt canara setu, I mean unipay works no? I used unipay like 20-30 times in last 2 months and easily got all reward points and never faced trxn failure, so is there something special abt canara setu?

Nothing special. I also have 90% txns on Unipay and rest ocassional on Setu only when face any issue with Unipay which is rare.

But having Setu as additional option is good because there aren't many sites/app left where dc as option can be used. On JioFin, I still expect DC option will come in future as currently they don't have DC option for any kind of payment. Also Setu had confirmed MCC of 4900 which helped HDFC Platinum card holders as it has 1% specifically for Utilities MCC. Also setu processed txns faster than Unipay and either it is failed or success. Not like Unipay where first it shows success and some people faced failure after few hours with money stucking. Even in some case txns reversed.

But happy that it is back. 5311 code (I am not confirming this and only someone here told it) will not help HDFC Platinum card holders whose feature says.

• Get 1 Cashback point on every ₹ 100 spent on Telecom, Utilities.
• Get 1 Cashback point on every ₹ 200 spent on Groceries, Supermarket, Restaurant, Apparels & Entertainment

Maybe as Groceries, Supermarket are covered so is the 5311 code which is for deprtmental stores but not sure. @6ix9ine has HDFC Platinum and he can confirm too as RPs come in 2-3 or 7 days.

setu is more reliable than unipay, even if MCC has changed to 5311, then what about millenia i think it will still give 2.5%

I was charged redemption fee on cc on 23rd oct. Never reversed.

Your account variant at that time. In my case, I have 3 Select Accounts under the same Cust. ID that might be the case they don't charge. Like me, a few more also got the same treatment.

Can someone please confirm if sbi unipay is working today ?
I am trying to pay my sbi credit card bill multiple times today but the transaction fails every time, i had seen somewhere that we should pay sbi card bill using quick pay on sbi unipay, but even that is not working.

If it's Cashback card, your cashback might have reduced your due amount

You can pay a maximum of 105% of your outstanding amount

So check your outstanding balance after deducting the cashback amount and you'll be able to pay, if that was the issue

I was charged on wealth "credit card".

and I had normal acc earlier and just got wealth program upgrade last week.

Is there a way I can get reward redemption waivered off?

Afaik there is no such option to view the break up of the reward points.
You get max 750 points and redeem as soon as you see them in your account. 🙂

In my case, IDFC Wow, Select, and Wealth CC redemption fees were revered with GST within 2 days. At the time of redemption account status IDFC First Select.

No as I don't have Platinum DC. Holding 4 Millennia DC (1 Self + 3 Family Members). As I said here earlier the people here will check and as departmental store MCC gives 1 cashpoint per 200 then reward rate will fall to 0.50% now even if you pay CC. Continue to pay it using Airtel Thanks or Unipay until someone confirms it whether 1% coming or 0.50%..
