Offer Fulfilled! Limit Enhancement and Upgrade Offers Rolling Out!

The offer has been fulfilled by the bank/company.
Its premium card, so one can analyze and take decision, above points is for basic cards. Moreover, both Atlas and RG has similar benefits (if need miles transfer then atlas, direct booking/vouchers then RG but reward wise on-paper both are almost similar).

: )

IMO:

2k and above Fee - Premium cards
10k and above Fee - Super-premium cards
20k and above Fee - Ultra premium cards
Travel specific cards (like Atlas, Vistara etc.) - Premium cards
Yes I have already seen your comparison. Very well articulated. I took Atlas because miles transfer makes more sense for me and for 3L spends better Atlas then Regalia

HDFC Millinnia credit card is still having great perks, if you use it wisely.

HDFC Millennia card does have some good perks, reality is that credit card benefits are constantly changing. Ex: When Millennia card was initially popular, it was one of the top choices for cashback. However, now we have other options like SBI Cashback or HDFC's own Swiggy card, which offer better cashback and features tailored to current spending habits.

The problem with sticking to basic cards as LTF is that they often don’t adapt as quickly to changing consumer needs. Banks frequently introduce better alternatives, leaving older cards like the Millennia behind in terms of benefits. This is why focusing on more versatile, premium cards, because those have better long-term strategy, even if they’re not LTF.

While Millennia can be a good choice if maximized correctly, it’s important to remain flexible and ready to upgrade when more advantageous cards, like the Swiggy or Cashback card, come onto the market. This way, you’re always getting the most value for your spending.

Problem is when people fight to get basic cards as Lifetime Free (LTF). Shortly after, when that card is no longer useful, they try to upgrade --only to find themselves fighting for LTF card again. This cycle keeps repeating because, in the past three years, none of the cards have stable. Banks frequently add or remove features, making them less and less useful.

IMO, it's better to have peace of mind with upgrade, as most banks offer the first year free or compensate with equivalent points or vouchers, allowing you to use the card for another year without hesitation.

If the card is LTF, there's a tendency to fight for an LTF upgrade too, because the mindset is, "Why go for a paid card?" But after achieving the upgrade, the bank might drop a mail about 'upcoming changes' to your credit card, and the cycle repeats. I believe only premium and super-premium cards are worth fighting for LTF status because they can only handle our changing lifestyle, increasing income, and relatively less devaluation.

Basic cards as LTF just aren’t worth it. Still, I understand that everyone has their choice, its upto them - I've wasted a lot of time earlier in this cycle myself, so I'm just sharing my opinion.
This is 100% true

DCP is a very cheap card.
Nothing is good in this card

For those who prefer cashback, DCP is a very cheap card. For those interested in miles or travel redemption, DCP is comparable to the Regalia level.

In the end, it’s all about your preferred redemption style. Your choice of card should depend on what benefits you're looking in that card.

Note: No way recommending DCP, just an option. If needed consider regalia gold instead. But DCP helps you to get DCB.

I have pretty hefty usage on my other ICICI cards which has 5L limit but not on HDFC. I do have continuous influx of money on my HDFC savings account which I believe is the reason for this increase in limit.

Money in savings account seems to help in credit limit. My wife account had 50L in saving account for few days. She recieved LE from 3L to 10L on her regelia cc.
