My Magnus cc got canned due to non personal usage and the rewards section remains blocked. Will my airtel card also get affected with this?

yes.. besides income tax and gst even telephone and electric bills fetch 5x points upto 7500 per month..

Yes, so far have tried only electric bills thru payzapp and was counted towards 7500 points

There has been many incidents where Axis blocks the card where only specific types of transactions happen. Basically what happened here is a business transaction done not registered as business (though social media allows it). It is easier to show the transaction and let bank decide on it.
Do keep us posted on how it went by with RBI
