My opinion after 2 months of M4B usage. though it's a great card, it's not marvellous. You easily get an average of 10%+ returns on MRCC/Plat Travel and Gold charge. With reward multiplier and spend-based offers the % even goes higher.

I recently upgraded to MB. I have some ER points in my account right now. I also have some pending ERs expected to be credited in the first week of February. Will these points go to MB bucket or ER bucket? What should I do to avoid any transfer issues?

All ERs generated by credit card will go to MB bucket. All ERs generated by savings account and debit card will go in the ER bucket.

Only till the time Axis systems are not fixed and that too after doing multiple transfers (discussed already). Once systems are fixed, only MB can be transferred at 5:4

Did anyone tried adding M4B card to Samsung Pay? I searched the forum but didnt get any relevant results. I tried adding and got recognized as "Titanium Prime Debit Card". Axis and their IT systems! 😆

Anyways, wanted to know whether I will get normal M4B ER points or debit card ER points if I use Samsung pay?

Yes. Tried in Saravana Stores Chennai and got the points. I also swiped at a local jewellery shop and got points there as well. But it all depends on the MCC which the merchant configured at the time of his account opening. So better do a small transaction at the shop, wait for 5 days to check if you get the points and do large transactions only after confirming.

You can contact customer care for MCC of the transaction for both successful and paid transaction.

Multiple transfers are needed even if MB bucket is empty?

I have never been able to bring my MB bucket to zero. As soon as I transfer points from MB, some points from ER move to MB. This is what the glitch is till it’s fixed
