Yes . . in one statement period.. see if you purchase big items and use almost 90% of limit, then what it indicates..
You are a big spender and using up most of CL, so they will increase CL hoping you spend more

Good! I have observed that they provide initial limit proportional to the average balance in the account.
So hope you get good limit early on.
I guess 3.5 to 5L would be good initial limit.

I took it when they offered Millennia with 3.5L
Then got LE to 4L then to 5.5L then to 6L
After that got pre approved upgrade to Regalia.
Didn't take the Regalia. They pestered me for one year with Regalia.
Just 3 months back I was offered DCB and I took it.

If I had waited back then for more initial limit maybe would have got Infinia by now. But who knows, HDFC is very unpredictable.

Yeah better for you. I only had one pre approved LE after that each time I had to do manual LE by sending documents to their legendary chennai office

Millennia was paid one so I only did transactions until I got past the waiver amount, that would be approx around 1-1.5L
Back then most of my transactions were offline.

Yeah because when I got the card I had just passed MBBS and completed my internship, not much income so not much spends.
