My Experience Regarding IDFC Wealth CC

Just wanted to post.
Got recently IDFC Wealth CC very easily.
Visited the nearest branch and asked for a credit card.
They took the details and told they can give wealth with 5L limit LTF.
I was expecting Select LFT and thought will request for wealth LTF.

Anyway got the CC delivered with in week.
They sent a seperate DreamFolks card for spa and lounge ac

Salary 36LPA or existing Credit card with 5L+ limit and should be atleast a year old. And even if you have that, they might still not offer Wealth

I have DCB with 6.5L will it be accepted for c2c?

When you apply for the Card on IDFC site, make sure you mention the card name and Credit limit.
PS-They don't really verify your CC details, so use your creativity 🙂

They do verify it from cibil. You know except cc vairant they can check everthing from cibil. So putting wrong limit won't work. However you can put your card name as infinia if you are giving hdfc cc details and maybe it will help in getting wealth.

I think try online first and if it doesn't work then offline. Btw as far as i remeber they don't ask for income docs so put above 36LPA income for salaried and 48LPA for self-employed.

I emailed nodal team with Salary Slips and Salary account statement, and i received auto reply "We acknowledge your service request on Card Product Upgrade - With Limit Enhancement (with income Proof) under reference xxxxxxx. It will be processed in 7 working days." and another email by nodal team "
With reference to the below email, we would like to inform you that we have taken note of your query and will share an update in 7 working days. We request your patience in the interim."

Will they upgrade my classic variant to wealth ?
If not I will just close Classic variant.. It is kind of useless for me..

How much was your older cl? What is your salary, then only can tell.
Basically if they are able to do an le to make cl more than 5l then they can upgrade to wealth very easily. Otherwise you will have to push a bit

First Classic limit is 95k. and salary 20-24.

Seems difficult. They will upgrade to Select at best with CL around 4L I think. But do try and share the updates here.

They denied upgrade to Wealth so submitted card closure request and it is now closed. Classic was kind of useless card with no offers. Next I will be closing my SBi Prime card.. or convert it to lower variant card.

If you have Sapphiro, the Wealth is not that much beneficial (except for the additional Lounge visits).

There's 5K/month spend condition on Wealth, 5K/quarter on Sapphiro, Unconditional on Regalia Gold

why to close LTF card, who knows some day you exhaust your free lounge/ spa visits on another card so it may come handy

It can be useful for IDFC specific sales, It also gives better rewards than sapphiro not sure of RG or Celesta
It gives RPs on wallet loads as well
