Infinia My Infinia CC journey in January 2025

Hi friends,

I just wanted to post my Infinia CC journey here to help others on the same boat.

Little bit of my financial context first,
I have 3.5 lakhs of net (after tax deduction) monthly income being credit to my HDFC salary account.
I had Regalia Gold CC on which I had more than 9 lakhs spends in last 6 months and 12.3 lakhs credit limit.

I started my journey in January 2025 when got interested in Infinia CC and got to know about this incredible forum.
By going through the suggestions in the forum I tried first directly mailing the HDFC Grievance department where the case was closed after asking for salary details. Though I tried explaining about my spends.

Then I was suggested by my RM and a HDFC branch Credit Card person to fill the upgrade form and submit directly in branch from where it will go to Chennai office. I also got to know that few people in this forum got it this way as well. So I just followed the same and in 7 days my Infinia CC was approved and delivered.

My RM is mentioning only for 1st year...next year fees but no renewal benefit

You can check with him once again by mentioning these details given on their official HDFC website about Infinia. He may be misinformed or may not be aware of these details.

If he still insists, then you can write an email - along with the screenshots of their website - and get a written confirmation.

If they still say that there are no renewal benefits of RPs, then you can escalate up the chain quoting the discrepancy and dissonance between their own official website and their replies (verbal and written through email) on the contrary.

If still not satisfied, then escalate to RBIO citing denial/deficiency of service along with the chain of emails to and fro as proof etc.
