It might be possible that the remaining amount is tax plus (remaining amout being less than 40 euro(2000 points)).. you can settle the remaining in the hotel in multiples of 1000 points (20Eur)

I think you can pay in multiples of 1000 points which will be roughly 1900 INR. So you'll need to buy something at the hotel to bring the total bill in those multiples.
