The virtual card bit is totally random some get it some don't. If you get it then usually it's with the approved message but there is no way to do anything from your end to get it

Asked the SBI CC team via email for a virtual card and this is the response they sent

"We understand the concern expressed in your communication and sympathizes with the difficulties faced by you. We are however not in a position to provide virtual card."

You can't apply for this card by agent or from branch.
Sprint is the only option for now.

8th sep- physical kyc
19th Sep - recieved 11 days sms
No update since then.
On Tracking it shows application is in process.
How much more will it take?

Complain to nodal officer... I have complained and now they have taken my so called special request... Given me a service number and have promised resolution before 17 oct..... I applied in 13th sept

You are right!

That means like icici we need two sbi cards... But the biggest problem is in icici u can have both cards ltf like apay/platinum or apay/mmt( with only joining fees) but in sbi u have to pay minimum 1498+gst......u can make second card ltf..... But only after a long hassle with customer care... Its purely luck.

Folks, I applied through the apply button from the review and it redirects here. Although I have got an application number, no one has reached out so far… neither have I got any more info… Should I apply again through Sprint or wait for a few weeks?
I tried the 'retrieve application' through sprint but it looks like it's starting a completely new application all over again; just wondering if I should go ahead and fill it up or wait for a few weeks to hear from SBI on the previous application.

LMAO update, just got done with VKYC right now i.e. 10 Oct 😂 If all goes well I might receive the card in 2024 lol… I wonder what's the next step.

Virtual card is visible till card is in dispatch status, once card gets delivered the link redirects to SBI app.

That's the default limit for existing card holders.. you can transfer limits from one to another

Transfer as in if I have 2 lkh in some other card, I can transfer 1 lkh 90 from that card so that card would be 10k and this card would become 2lkh?

Any SBI Card that we can get through Sprint without involving their agents and/or repeated verification calls asking PAN, Mobile Number etc. entire application data.? (based on eligibility it should generate card or after VKYC it should be generated, no agents).

I don't know how some people got virtual card directly, any tips or things we need to look before filling application in Sprint?

You generally get that if you have CIBIL 750+ and they have Tier's based on the company that you work and if it's in Tier 1. You would for sure get an approval with virtual card. I got it that way.

Can you share the mail id of the nodal officer ?

I applied for the card on the 2nd of September & the physical verification was done on the 16th.

I've got a few calls asking me to take some other card instead.

You can transfer the limit of existing card to cashback card and then close the existing card via talking with cc
