Non BBPS payments via 3rd party apps to be stopped by RBI forcing all banks to register as BBPS billers

RBI has directed all CC payments to be made using BBPS only.

3rd party apps to stop non bbps card payments from 1st July onwards.

Banks who are not registered as a BBPS biller have been given time till 30th June but 90 days extension has been sought from RBI.

with all these new mess

what will be best method to pay it with out any money stuck

Go to their respective website n pay. Be it for CC bills or electricity bills or other bills. Till this month-end probably.

yes, I paid my bill on July 1st morning and it got credited.

Go to their respective website n pay. Be it for CC bills or electricity bills or other bills. Till this month-end probably.

I paid ALL our 3 electricity bills - 2 of APSPDCL and 1 of TSPDCL - by first downloading their respective Apps and by selecting Credit Card payment options. This way, you will have to pay convenience fee which I didn't mind.

RuPay/UPI option is faliing in both Apps - both for RuPay CC and for QR scan.

I paid on HDFC bill pay to Citibank yet to be credited.

Just now checked Citibank app and our bill is credited now!!
To me it looks like it took 1 day more to get credited. Anyway good it got settled now.

Guys, pay the bills in billers own website for this month especially those who got the due date in the next one week..
Not worth missing the due date for a mere 1% back..
All will be fine by next month…
We will know working methods by then

Because of all my cards balances are -ve and my bill generation dates are 1st or 2nd of each month , I have no bills pending until at least 4 more weeks…
So for me by that time I will have some idea
and I have no idea what is currently working or not

1)I have 15+ Cards, so that it is easy to mange
2) I pay in full before bill generation date
3) As most of the banks report balances as on 30th to CIBIL , my reported balances are always in -ve, so my cibil score is in the best shape possible

Pay by NEFT. Gets credited the same day, usually within a couple of hours.
