Non BBPS payments via 3rd party apps to be stopped by RBI forcing all banks to register as BBPS billers

RBI has directed all CC payments to be made using BBPS only.

3rd party apps to stop non bbps card payments from 1st July onwards.

Banks who are not registered as a BBPS biller have been given time till 30th June but 90 days extension has been sought from RBI.

ICICI is now on BBPS at HDFC BillPay. It still doesn't work? I didn't try it myself because my upcoming bill will still take a couple of weeks more to get generated.

it's fine, man. We'll get our money back. They have sent an sms as well as an email for the failed transaction.

Let's wait until Friday and then reach out to bank demanding ₹100/day compensation.

I got my refund yesterday.

Failed transaction date: 1st July
Reverse transaction date: 7th July

Have received points as well for the failed transaction and have redeemed them too.
