I don't think anyone in this group will buy stuff related to Miles and Points because the whole agenda is to grab maximum points and value back, by use of loopholes and hacks, which we are already doing.

That's a really good deal for 12k.. Unfortunate I already have 2 Vistara cards and am loaded with PE Tickets and CV points..

Those booking award tickets for others may have to share their credit card image with travelers.
Vistara asks for proof of ticket or relation with Voucher owner before boarding and denies boarding if they are not satisfied by answers.
So, if Primary card owner is not traveling, then Visatara asked for a photocopy of credit card with a self-declaration on it stating that I allow xyz to travel on my voucher..

Did this happen with you or someone you know? Might be the case for credit card only bookings, but in case of vouchers, only a small (tax + booking) amount is paid with card

Buyers don't buy vouchers, they buy tickets booked with vouchers only

Vistara replied to him that it was as per policy, passengers were unable to answer security questions satisfactorily, so they were not allowed to board

Award flight availability is a big issue these days, as many agents too use these vocuhers/points to book flights for their customers
Maybe vistara want to curb that.

This is in line with vistara's plan to issue vouchers like a parallel currency. It is as good is printing your own cash.
Just imagine if every business starts printing IOUs or vouchers!
