I think you should use the petrol cards like BPCL octane or Axis IOCL because the vouchers are not easily or always accepted

Any fastag will work,you don't need to have issued from Park+

Can anyone explain in depth, how did you purchase IOCL petrol voucher (using which CC) and redeemed it (like if any specific POS machine was used and how much time you spent at the station etc).

Just go to buy petrol & buy voucher.
Most of the POS accepts voucher,
firstly fillup needs to be done,then you've to select pump no.,there the amount will reflect, there's an option of iocl pay. There you've to enter phone number then qr code scanner option or entering voucher number both options will be there.
Qr scanning saves time though.

Let's say if I buy ₹500 iocl fuel voucher and fill petrol of only ₹300. Whether the remaining amount still be in the voucher or it will lapsed.

The fuel pump will collect 500 rupees from the voucher but give you only Rs 300 petrol.
So you need to ask the pump to return 200 cash, but they will take a cut

l have used the voucher in my nearest IOCL petrol pump. l usually recharge the voucher just when l need to fill petrol. After generating the QR code, just tell the petrol pump that you want to pay through IOCL pay. Note that l will redeem the full amount all the time. The payment through QR code is very quick. l also get points ( using amex PT card).

If you buy 500 voucher, 200 will be refunded
