Payzapp + Red Girraffe MCC Patched

Payzapp has corrected the MCC for rent transactions done on Red Girraffe. I did a transaction yesterday and the merchant name is reflected as PZRENT. The transaction got settled today and Axis has charged a 1% rent surcharge + GST as well. So it’s no longer reflected as a utility transaction

Can anyone confirm if rent on redgirraffe can still be paid bybpazapp wallet balance?

I don't think that's possible, maybe ask your landlord to return that in cash or UPI and you pay him/her again through your preferred means

Yeah Redgiraffe can reverse it. Contact them asap. Once they send to landlord, they can’t do anything.

As latest as last month, it was working. I loaded using IDFC select and paid through wallet balance successfully.

I paid using DCB on Dec 1st and it went through. May be try removing and again adding your rg account as a biller?

This got reversed by redgiraffe on my request promptly. Update for those still reacting on my post and useful info if anyone by mistakenly does any redgiraffe payment it can be reversed.
By the way, don't you have any rules and restrictions for your username handles on this forum, I see many inappropriate ones??

It only shows when you have wallet balance more than your redgirraffe rent amount

So this month I paid using my axis M4b card... Now I realized based on this thread that it will lead to 1% charge...

Need to have balance in payzapp wallet more than rent amount then only it shows Wallet balance at checkout for rent payment

This won't give Rp on DCB, right.
Better would be to add rg ID in hdfc billpay & pay via dcb. That gives RP afaik.
