Payzapp + Red Girraffe MCC Patched

Payzapp has corrected the MCC for rent transactions done on Red Girraffe. I did a transaction yesterday and the merchant name is reflected as PZRENT. The transaction got settled today and Axis has charged a 1% rent surcharge + GST as well. So it’s no longer reflected as a utility transaction

That gives, this trick is for people who dont have dcb/ infinia and have wallet rewarding ccs

In December I paid the rent through rg from my infinia and in my statement there were no rp credited for that transaction. I am assuming that means I got no rp for the rent transaction.

Question - will I get rewards? is HDFC bill payment patched also or only Smartpay is patched?

Did you use smartpay in hdfc billpay? What was your due date showing there and when (which date)was the payment automatically debited?

Mine due date is showing 5jan but payment not yet debited from card

Not necessary, you can pay bills which are in pending state but I guess it needs to complete 24hrs after addition

You can pay after 24 hrs, even if shows the biller as pending.

Call and ask them mcc if your billing cycle date is little far

You can pay after 24 hrs, even if shows the biller as pending.

This is correct. Happened with me also
