Payzapp + Red Girraffe MCC Patched

Payzapp has corrected the MCC for rent transactions done on Red Girraffe. I did a transaction yesterday and the merchant name is reflected as PZRENT. The transaction got settled today and Axis has charged a 1% rent surcharge + GST as well. So it’s no longer reflected as a utility transaction

I registered on RedGiraffe today. But a huge problem is how to convince aging parents that RedGiraffe is a trusted company? My father accused me "selling his PAN and other private information without their consent to third parties". 🙄 I pointed out that RedGiraffe is not a company whose business model is selling data to earn revenue. Also pointed to their privacy policy which clearly mentions this: https://redgirraffe.com/privacypolicy but they just won't allow me to pay rent via RG. 🤦🏻‍♂️Their only trusted way is NEFT with exactly 0 rewards.

Is it actual rent or using for rewards?

It is actual rent 100% since their building went for re-development for many years. But I got yelled at for uploading rent agreement to RedGiraffe and almost banned from paying rent by CC via RG since their PAN is involved. How to convince them that RedGiraffe is not some data-hungry startup out to sell your data to advertisers or prospective landlords?

Are they concerned really about the data selling or more abt their "PAN" no going out into circulation to be on the radar of IT department. If it's the latter case, the concern is actually genuine and nobody would like to risk just for earning a few chillers on rent txns

Paranoid about private information being missold. Why would PAN being on radar of IT dept be a concern if they're tax paying citizens who file ITRs and never had any issue? They're afraid of credit cards also and I had to go to great pains to clear their myths and explain to them when used responsibly, they can be considerably rewarding, not a headache. But this is "next level" private info sharing to third party for them.🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Isn't Ongo Card be the best card for RedGiraffe-Payzapp Rent payment ? i mean good for few credit cards.

Like - Axis Ace credit card/ HSBC Cashback credit card give unlimited 2%/1.5% cashback for Ongo card wallet load and then use Ongo card for RedGiraffe-Payzapp Rent payment or first laod to Payzapp Wallet and then pay to RedGiraffe Rent payment ? 🤔🤔

This will be too much stakeholders here
1. Ongo
2.axis ace/hsbc cb
3.payzapp
4.redgiraffe

Is this solving and easing the problem or rather adding to the complexity.
2% roi is too less

Tell them I will gift them amazon vouchers of equivalent annual fee amount. Only thing they need to do is apply for amex cc through my referral link.

On a different note, chasing milestones is not a good thing especially for entry level cards like ace and hsbc cb
