Please recommend my next Super Premium credit card

VIP Lounge
I currently hold a Diners Club Black and ICICI Sapphiro cards. My annual spends are somewhere between 7-9lacs with online spends mostly on Amazon, FK, Dmart, Jiomart, Zomato and Swiggy. I also spend on flight tickets and fuel.

Which credit card should I purchase for maximum benefits? I am not yet comfortable with double dipping rewards etc and look for direct returns.

If you have spend of 1L in any month then go for magnus to earn milestone benefits. It offers great return if points are redeemed on airmiles.

If you are flying Vistara mostly, then co-branded card from axis will be god pick

You may also try for upgrading your DCB to Infinia.

If you are looking for direct Cashback or gift vouchers then go for SBI Cashback and SC Ultimate.

you should take axis magnus and one of the amex cards either mrcc or plat travel
Thank you. Are these LTF or have spend based waiver?

Thank you. You mean one month in a year to be >1L or every month should be >1L?
Are SBI Cashback/SC Ultimate LTF?

I am not much into travel and hence looking to shift from DCB.

@luckymurari magnus give you on above or equal to 25,000 point which is 5000/- and first time fees will be charged which is 10,000+gst you get tata cliq vocher 10,000 voucher or air ticket for next year 25 lakhs need to spend for fees reversal , every year you pay annual fees i believe axis Magnus give you tata cliqu 10,000 voucher or air ticket in exchanges of fees

Thank you. This is very helpful.

So basically, I get 10,000rs voucher on ~12,K rs fees every year? That too even if my spend is near zero? (Looks very valuable card)

Fee is reversed on 15L spend not 25L

yes but you need to find something valuable to buy from tata cliq or take ticket ticket. both could be brought with discount using some other cc but since you have voucher or ticket you would loose some discount but then if you cross 1 lakhs in only 3 month out of 12, then it definitely worth it

Thanks this is helpful. Yeah, Tatacliq is a bummer but stil something is there to cover for low usage🙄 What does ticket ticket mean - is that flight ticket?

Magnus already explained not LTF. 10k tata cliq voucher against 10k+tax fees.. and waiver if u spend 15 lakh in a year

Amex MRCC you get first year free if you use referral link.. second year onwards 1500+tax as fees but that can be negotiated or waived off on talking with customer care.. here is my link for mrcc referral if u interested.. i can give u further amazon voucher if u use my referral…

You are missing out on so much of good stuff!! I can see you have written super premium card. But I am suggesting some cards that I think are pretty useful:

1) SBI Cashback: Not to be missed card, Flat 5% cashback on almost all online spends standard exceptions like rent, utility etc.
2) Axis MyZone - I got it LTF but now I think it’s 500 buck. 4 times flat 120 off on Swiggy per month and BOGO on book my show.
3) IDFC Wealth (or any other card) - LTF Cards with good benefits
4) IndusInd Eazy Diner - BOGO Movie Ticket and good discounts on EazyDiner
5) For Super Premium Category You can try Magnus if you want else Diners is a great card.
6) Try getting any rupay card their are good discounts on Rupay cards. You can go for BOB or PNB.

Someone already mentioned about Infinia but if your Diners is paid try upgrading to paid Infinia..

if Diners is life time free in that case no point taking paid Infinia, rather take paid Magnus.. keep Diners life time free and maybe upgrade to paid Infinia in future if Magnus gets devalued

Thank you - these seem to be great cards/offers - I will look into IDFC Wealth, and Rupay cards (As they seem to be LTF 😛 )

Thank you. Came across another thread about getting DCB to LTF based on college. Will try making it free and then take Magnus.

IDFC First Wealth credit card if you’re considering only LTF cards. It has many 5x/10x accelerated rewards, BOGO movie vouchers, domestic & international lounge access and more. The card has many features for which please visit the idfc site.

If you’re up to spending the joining & annual fees, there is nothing better than the Magnus right now considering your spends are significant.

Or you know what? If it were me, I’d get both. Since Wealth is LTF and the Magnus pays for itself (maybe a few times over).

Yes, planning to do exactly the same - will take Magnus (based on recommendations of multiple folk here) for annual fees and spends after getting my DCB converted to LTF. Meanwhile, will start accumulating LTF cards

I now applied and got the IDFC First Bank Wealth card. Super quick and smooth process - card is already up and working! Looking forward for the rewards now
