IDFC First Bank Mayura Super Premium Credit Card & Ashva Premium Credit Card (Both Metal Cards) Launched

but the guy from idfc called me and said i am eligible? he is an idfc employee since he sent an email from idfc domain
He is an agent just trying to complete the quota. His agenda is to sell credit cards, not aware of the bank's system.
I have the Wow card from IDFC, then got Millenia>Select(Upgrade)>Wealth(Upgrade) then got Ashva and Mayura based on my Wealth card, not the Wow card.
what do i need to do to be able to get the card then?
First, get an unsecured card from IDFC, then apply from the website for Ashva/Mayura.
Another way is to close the Wow card and apply fresh you will get Ashva/Mayura based on your profile and eligibility.

I hold Wow and Wealth together, no need to close Wow. Go to the IDFC website or app to start a fresh application you will get a few unsecured card options if you are eligible for them.
Otherwise, DM me I can connect you with my IDFC RM.

IDFC Myura has Zero Forex? Shall I use this for foreign trip next month? Or Use DCB metal? I Already have Fi Debit used in Bangkok and helped me!

Apply for any other like Select /wealth/ any unsecured card life time free showing in pre approved list, will get that in 2 minutes and after that apply for Ashva/ Mayura you will get pre approved. I did that only. Do not forget to collect 500 welcome voucher on free card select/ wealth by making 5000 odd spend. But in any case, Ashva/ Mayura are not worth renewal fees so one year cards for now.

is it possible to get the card while holding a WOW card? I got a call from an idfc employee who sent me an email with the idfc domain with a link to apply for ashwa/mayura but when i go and apply for it and enter the otp the page doesn’t go ahead and it keeps just loading.

is holding the wow cc the reason for this application not proceeding? considering it is an idfc employee who said im pre-approved for it and i simply need to apply for it to be approved.
It's possible to get ashva or mayura with wow.. I got mayura holding wow

The reward rate for Mayura is pretty low -
  • 1X = 1 Reward Point per ₹150 spent | 1 Reward point = ₹0.25
So effectively, ~0.167%. But you get 5x on up to ₹20000 spends and 10x beyond, so at best ~1.67% effective reward rate.

DCB Metal has a base reward rate of 3.33% and forex markup of 2% (+GST). However, if you have Global Value Back program activated on your card (1% cashback on international spends), the effective reward rate for international transactions comes to ~1.97%. So I'd say that DCB Metal is still the better choice overall considering only the reward rate. Do keep in mind that many countries have a fairly low acceptance rate for Diners Club cards though whereas the IDFC Mayura uses the MasterCard network and will be accepted everywhere.
