PNB Credit cards experience | Application process and time

Finally, received that golden message from PNB, "Your application has been approved. You will receive your card within 5 days". Seems an achievement, considering the Diwali holidays, this might be the fastest application they have processed. Interestingly, they approved the same credit limit for which they have made CIBIl enquiry!
Congrats. I think yours is the fastest approval of this card that I have seen.

Congrats 👏
Here I am still waiting for my card to be delivered. It was approved on Oct 17. But they took their sweet time of 12 days to ship it on 28th through DTDC. Shipment reached nearby centre today afternoon, hopefully I will get it tomorrow 😅

Thanks. That's okay I think since Diwali holidays. Hope it will be delivered this week.

Update: Guys I've finally received my PNB Rupay Platinum CC. tbvh I'm impressed with the service considering the experience some people had to go through and waiting for ~3 months. When compared to that I received my card on 1st November for which I applied on 5th October during which there was almost a week for Diwali. So in 14 days, my application got approved, I think this might be the fastest approval for pnb cc. And they took 11 days to deliver it but that's alright, I'll cut them some slack because there was diwali in between so it's alright.

So the Timeline goes something like this:
5th October - Applied for the card through pnbcard.in
13th October - Sent last 2-year ITR via mail. Only in jpeg format.
14th October - Sent last 2-year ITR again via mail. This time in both pdf as well as jpeg formats.
19th October - Received a message saying the Application was Approved and I shall receive it in the next 5 days.
28th October - Received a message saying my card is dispatched along with AWB and I shall receive it in the next 7 days.
1st November - Received the Credit Card.

1st November - Used the card within half an hour of receiving it to place an order through Zomato. Got 100rs Off. Yayy!

Although I could've activated the card (after 19th October) via PNB Genie app and used the card online and via upi, I chose not to. Waited till the card was in my hands.
This card looks perfect. Like very good in terms of fit and finishing. I recently got an HDFC Millennia on Diners Club and that was delivered 3 or maybe 4 days ago, the finishing of millennia is very bad. And when you compare pnb's finishing with hdfc millennia's you'll see that the card is really in a very good finish.
Attaching some pics.

Did u sent them the documents anyways, or they asked?

Congrats. Can you please share what was your initial approved limit and why did they reduce it ?
The provisional credit limit was 98000 or 96000. Not very sure but it was definitely either one of them. They provided me with a 50k Limit. I'm not sure why they did that but I'm alright with it. It is the very first credit card in my dad's name. He hasn't taken any loan of any amount or any credit card ever in his life so maybe that might be a reason that he didn't have any existing CIBIL score. Although my dad did received a call today claiming to be from Indusind Bank asking if he needs a cc lol. Will build his Credit Score from this card and look to explore adding more in his name.

Hi Everyone,

Have 2 questions:
Is the application process sorted on the PNB online website wrt the bugs, although after going through the thread, will be cautious in ITR and VKYC steps.

Two specific questions
1 - Will they do cibil enquire on auto loan or credit card
2 - Also for different correspondence and permanent address, do we need to submit proofs for both, my Aadhaar is for permanent address but correspondence address, I have rent agreement that too unregistered and only on stamp paper. I dont think rent agreement is consdered as OVD (Officially Valid Document)

The only reason I am opting for Select is the Select benefits and first Rupay credit card to use on UPI P2M transactions

income docs required?

Applied for Rupay Select, they have issued Rupay Platinum, then requested for an upgrade after that platinum upgraded to select. Both Cards were delivered at the same time, however, now platinum is already closed and only Select is active as I have already started using both cards from the approval date. Overall happy with PNB, they took time but they make sure that the customer issue they are trying to solve

Same thing happened with me. Its a bit annoying, since for all of this we need to keep writing emails and wait for 2-3 days.
