PNB Credit cards experience | Application process and time

Thanks, I will mail them. What documents you shared (how many months' salary slips)? I don't remember what I uploaded.
They asked for last 3 months' salary slips, Bank statement from your salary account for last 6 months. If you are a businessman then you will have to provide ITR for last 2 years. Also, do not forget to include your application number in your email to PNB. That is the only way they can map your documents with your application.

Also you can mark ccpc@pnb.co.in copy in your email.

Just checked my CIBIL Enquiry details, for my credit card application PNB did an enquiry under Auto Loan Personal category with an enquiry amount of 20,00000 isn't this insane 😵. Looks like their developer used the source code of their vehicle loan portal and forgot to change the enquiry category and loan amount. Should I complaint to PNB nodal officer about this?
The same thing happened to me with IndusInd. I applied through the branch since I already have an active account there. I was shocked to learn that the inquiry was autoloaned for Rs. 500,000. I asked my RM to suppress the enquiry, but it was unsuccessful, so I have now moved my business to another bank and am only maintaining MAB.

There is no official link as such, as this is from the customer credit card application.

If you ask PNB Brach manager for credit card application based on HL, then they will issue the same . .They dont issue Rupay Select based on HL
Hi Shankar,
Do you have the info for the quota of free lounge access for domestic and international through PNB Rupay Select CC ?

Those who are planning to apply for PNB cards using their online portal https://apply.pnbcard.in/, please refrain yourself from doing that as you will end up having a 20L+ enquiry on your CIBIL for an Auto Loan. Also, chances of getting the card would also be none as PNB is yet to iron out issues in their online portal.

I applied for a PNB credit card on July 20th and despite filling the application end to end and providing all the required documents, I keep on getting a message from their side that my application is laying discrepant. When I reached out to customer care, they initially asked me to share my ITRs from last two years at ccpc@pnb.co.in and later on at creditcardpnb@pnb.co.in, I duly shared the documents on these email addresses.

Yet, I received following email from PNB.

This was a complete surprise to me as nobody in PNB was checking the emails sent by me. Still I attached the documents one more time and received following response instantly.

Tried multiple times, in fact reached out to their customer care, the customer care folks have absolutely no clue about this, and they are most probably outsourced employees with absolutely no rights to make any changes on the card application.

Apart from sympathising there is nothing which they could do to provide any help/assistance to me in this case.

Lesson Learnt: There is no point in wasting a CIBIL inquiry on the PSU banks like PNB who despite being one of the oldest bank in India is still living in the stone age. Also, since nobody is there to scrutinise the emails sent to their official email addresses there is no way you can escalate this issue to anyone.

Fear of loosing job is non existent in these PSUs, hence efficiency, technological innovations and accountability are simply not there in any of their employees.

I also received same mail yesterday.

When i went to branch. They said to apply via online,
wow.

I called the Branch some time back, and the phone was picked up. The lady on the other side shared all details required as well as gave the branch email ID

She informed that application will be made via an app. Let's see. I will go next Saturday which is working one.

Will post here on experience

Without any disrespect let me tell you something on this point:-

1. Fear of loosing job in non existent in these PSU--> I'm fighting with Union Bank of India for RuPay Select Wellness Credit Card & yesterday i got a call from Deputy Branch Manager asking that MD Desk is going issuer her a "Memo=Showcause" since there has been a serious miscommunication from their end.

2. Apart from sympathizing there is nothing which they could do to provide any help/assistance to me in this case--> You need exactly follow the escalation matrix & start mailing them looping RBI officials. They will have no choice but to reply you on the point. For reference now a days Union Bank of India replying me on each point raised for clarification within the stipulated timeline. Earlier they were not even bother to reply me at all.

3. Nobody is there to scrutinize the emails sent to their official email addresses there is no way you can escalate this issue to anyone--> Please follow the escalation matrix written in the Grievance Redressal system. If you don't find anything of that sort, please loop RBI & escalate them. they are bound to reply you. If it happens with UBI, it can happen with any bank in India under RBI.

@prc1990 fought a very good fight with PNB recent days, please direct him for the PNB.
