PNB launched New Range of Debit Cards

I have PNB Elite Executive Saving account for the Rupay Select Debit card. When I went to the bank to apply for add-on card and submitted the form, I was told that system is not allowing it. Its showing error "Add On Card cannot be availed for this account". Bank executive are clueless here.

Has anyone else faced the same issue? Which account variant of PNB allows you get to Rupay Select Debit add-on card?

• For imperial RSDC, you have to ask them to apply additional / Duplicate debit card without blocking existing debit card.

Account was opened in the month of May, 2025. This was very close to the launch of the new account type by PNB like Optima, Imperial, Elite in Apr, 2025.

Also, Imperial is a Salary account but Elite Executive is a Savings account even though they are of the same group. Is it possible that salary accounts can issue add-on cards but not savings?

1. The old RSDC is the PNB's first or Traditional RSDC.
 

2. addional debit card / duplicate debit card option is available in CBS / Pinacle [ options are there in branch Employees computer ]

3. Debit card which is given for imperial Salary account or Executive Savings account is same. [ in their Systems , DC name is PNB Rupay Select imperial DC with short name / Code as SAI ].

• Old accounts has add on debit cards, while new accounts has additional debit cards, we calling / treating New additional debit cards as old name [ add ons ]
• They [ Bank Employees ] can only able to apply as additional DC for new set of debit cards , but for end users Additional debit card or Add on debit cards are same.

Please read the post again, I am transacting and withdrawing money without any issues still its not showing in net banking from last 3 months. Now the bank official is saying you should have applied the addon with the primary card, you have to cancel the card and apply all 3 together, as per information received from headquarters, tomorrow I am going to visit branch tomorrow to give him a piece of mind. these guys are moron

EDIT: After reading last few posts, it seems to be an issue because I have activated my card and set ATM pin via netbaking and not through ATM or IVR. Will IVR activation work or ATM is the only option for this. @hdebnath @Thomas244

But on a second note, I have withdrawn money successfully from ATM, the ATM would not have dispensed if it would been activation issue, correct?

IVR works. Bcos after activation it comes in pnb app as another card

Goto kalyan store tell them u want to redeem vouchers. Once they say ok u select what u want slightly more than voucher value. Then at billing they will ask u to email all vouchers to them. They will apply one by one. Pay remainder

Its all about weight, design and making charges.
You have to visit and have look and feel to decide.

I Have bought light weight diamond ring of 2.9gms gold also. Lower the weight stiffness is required so more impurities required, kalyan charges more making charges for 750 jewellery then 916.

Rings I have checked but no idea about necklace. Rings are available from 3-4 grams, some are even available from 1gm - with low carrets. Ask for different % of making charges, they vary from 18 to 27% I think, based on it select what suits you. Call them before going, for me I found all staff to be friendly and supportive.

Card can be issue without upgrading the account scheme.

I have had the old RSDC for the past 2–3 years without maintaining any balance in my PNB account. Three days ago, I applied for an add-on RSDC when my account had around 2.5k, and the card was successfully applied.

At that time, I wasn’t aware of the Imperial Card otherwise, I would have tried applying for it instead. Now my question is, can I apply for the Imperial Card without maintaining any minimum balance? Since I didn’t maintain the required balance for RSDC but still got the card, I’m wondering if the same is possible for Imperial. Has anyone here tried applying without maintaining the 1L balance, or is it mandatory to maintain it for this card?
