PNB launched New Range of Debit Cards

1 primary 2 add ons.

I don't have much knowledge about this. Can you guide me which cards I can get besides imperial?
Can I get 2 imperial? Or it has to be two different cards like imperial and excel/neo
Check the freebies list, and just check which offer suit you most and apply the same card. Those card has different offer some is giving some voucher quarter and same is in different card yearly.

I have Rupay Select DC and applied one imperial still I am thinking RSDC is best.

Do you know about any other rewarding DC apart from pnb imperial and Bob emt?
These two provide a lot of vouchers like Kalyan,decathlon, blinkit,myntra...

Old Rupay Select DC provides Amazon Prime, Cult (Qtr), Lakme/Spa (Qtr), Health Checkup (Qtr), Uber (Qtr)

2. addional debit card / duplicate debit card option is available in CBS / Pinacle [ options are there in branch Employees computer ]

3. Debit card which is given for imperial Salary account or Executive Savings account is same. [ in their Systems , DC name is PNB Rupay Select imperial DC with short name / Code as SAI ].

  • Old accounts has add on debit cards, while new accounts has additional debit cards, we calling / treating New additional debit cards as old name [ add ons ]
  • They [ Bank Employees ] can only able to apply as additional DC for new set of debit cards , but for end users Additional debit card or Add on debit cards are same.
@brolu : Were you able to get the additional or the add-on cards for your account.. I am going through the same stage as when the bank execuitve applies for the add-on cards, it shows "account is ineligible for add-on cards" .. I would like to know what option should the bank exec choose while applying for the extra cards so this error no more comes.

Please share your experience and if there are additional things one should look out for while applying

I went to the branch and applied for the duplicate debit card (Additional DC) as you suggested and finally received one. Registered the card on the PNB Netbanking and also successfully redeemed voucher from Rupay Select portal.

I was able to successfully get additional card for my account. Just tell them to apply for Duplicate Card ensuring the current debit also remains active and not add-on card. The software that they use for banking operations isn't visible to public. So I am not sure what option they chose but the branch employee was knowledgeable enough to correctly complete the request.

how much deduction or charges happen for the first and duplication card?
 
Does anyone have any idea if I have elite executive account and I downgrade it. Will I get to keep the Imperial RSDCs or not.

I feel a lot of restrictions in using vouchers, looking to sell most to be honest now lol

if i dont maintain will imperial account by default without or with charges?

I went to the bank yesterday to apply for the duplicate card and it doesn't seems to be enabled for me .. Bank employee told me to check the account variant in case it is applicable.. for me it is "SBELA" and there is an option to choose "Occupation" before applying for duplicate card and she tried "GOVT/OTHERS/PRIVATE EMPLOYEE" as the 3 options, but never did it enabled the duplicate card option post that.

If you guys have any idea on how this can be done will be very useful.. I keep on stating her about reading this over internet but being NEW to all this kind of request, she was unable to help me. 🙁

FYI - I have recently closed my old RSDC within a month's time and got my first imperial DC post the account upgrade.

  • Why is the need of occupation to have a debit card ?
  • Do they really Appling debit card ?
  • We all have account scheme as SBELA [ Elite Executive ] and have 3 debit cards.
  • Say them to look for a option called Additional debit card & apply from there.
